Imagine being sent to be screened by morons, the ministerial nominee is the biggest slowpoke. Those morons at the national assembly should have disqualified him

Despite all the nonsense he said in the past, I still want him to be a minister. Folks like him have always portrayed others as incompetent, corrupt and undeserving of public offices. Now that he has been nominated as a minister and member of the Federal executive council, let’s see what he will do differently. He must perform exceptionally without excuses.

He was a government critic and that’s why you want him to be minister? You mentioned nothing from his qualifications that stood out for you

It happened in Kaduna state with a certain lecturer El'rufai nominated as commissioner. I think he was not cleared eventually.

The joke is now on him. Lol.

Because of political positions in Tinubu government, he’s now apologising. He forgot that internet no dey forget. His apology is unacceptable. Meanwhile, here’s the current APC Chairman Collecting kickbacks from the contractor. Gandollar in action here. Watch the throwback tape of former APC Kano state governor, Alhaji Ganduje collecting kickbacks from the contractor in Kano State. Nigerians and APC don enter one chance . 🤔🤔

He didn't need to apologise. Nigerian Senators are mostly morons.

The Northern woman who shed tears days ago during her ministerial screening and was subsequently asked to take a bow and go by the Akpabio led Senate, is the same woman who was rejected by the Senate 3years ago, when Buhari forwarded her appointment to the house for screening and confirmation, after it was found that she skipped the NYSC scheme.

What else can explain that sort of stupidity if not the fact that the Senate is filled with morons who have no idea as to the reasons they're sitting in parliament ?!

If she can handle her post well, why should the NYSC certificate ruin things?

So you actually want to see him in office, not bcoz he's credible and capable on merit, but to see if he will fail like others before him.

You Nigerians are incredible... walahi!

Well, I'd say you have a point raising the bar for the activist. Still, I'm sure the "morons" appreciate the apology and are ready to "move on".

'Lets see' is the terminology of experimentation, the cry of vulnerability.

It is hard to live in a nation with citizens of such low esteem that cannot take charge of their destinies but are condemned to trial and error just because of feudal inclinations.

When will Nigerians be sure of their choices. When will Nigerians guide and drive their government to sure destinations like citizens of other nations do.

I love to see critics come on board. It's not about criticism criticism all the time.

Come up with your ways of getting things done better.

Don't be surprised that someone like Femi Falana may not necessarily be that fantastic in public office. It's different from private office.

Based on my experience auditing Federal ministries and agencies, I have come to realize that public administration is entirely different from running a private business. So, good CV is encouraging and comforting. However, it takes a lot of local intelligence, wit, courage, experience and total commitment to run an MDA successfully.

The FG is a very complex system that is run based on laws, rules, tight budget, regulations, bureaucracy, thousands of circulars, asslicking, corruption, horse trading etc. These are issues private business owners don’t usually face on a high scale. He will have to learn how to navigate the system from the more experienced civil servants who may mislead him for their own selfish interest. I wish him the best.

People don’t know that interviewers and recruiters use your social media footprints 👣 to decide whether you are a good person or not. Even some who have felt bad their Visa is denied don’t know that embassies scan through their data before granting visa.

Look, Bosun knows how to build tech ecosystems and he can do it for Nigeria if allowed to. This does not mean he is not an entitled, opinionated loud mouth.

Two things can be true at the same time. Skill and character are not always joined at the hip. Elon Musk is not someone I would ever want to work for but does he have a good batting average? For sure. It takes some ego to be successful. Bosun is finding out what the limits of ego are.
