There is no way he will get a ban for not submitting his passport, failure to submit your passport upon request simply means you are no longer interested and your application will be declined. The agent is blabbing about that
tenderjunkie:

So I just spoke to him. He has the UCI number.

Unfortunately, he sent his passport to the agent to have his visitor visa stamped.
Agent is demanding for 3.5m to be paid in full before releasing the passport or they'll ensure he gets a ban.

I advised him to get a police report stating his passport is missing. That way, he can send a webform to IRCC stating his current IRCC account has been compromised and tender the police report. That should mitigate any plan the agent has in getting him banned.

Then, he can apply for a new passport and start the new visa application process afresh.

Your thoughts please...

Good day Everyone.

Please l need advice on POF and statement of account.

As a result of the 4-6months statement of account l opened Globus bank last month and l planned to use it for my POF, l want to sell an asset (20m) to use it for my POF because it is a family application.

Please l planned to submit application in September for January 2024 intake. Please what do you think?

If the agent is refusing to bend to him. Let him get a new passport then submit it for stamping, he should initiate the linking of the portal as directed. Cut the agent off, but make sure the new passport get to the ircc before the due date. Let him start all process immediately and send pic to the agent when he arrive in Canada.

HopefulSuccess:
Someone should please help me answer this.
Thanks in advance.

If I have a brother (half-brother, who is my sponsor) from the same mother but different father, how do I proof that he is my brother aside using picture.
Birth certificates. If you two don't share the same surname, a family tree can also be used to show how you two are related.

Yetty, this arrangement no tidy o.

If you have an existing account with history, why do you want to open a brand new one and pay huge lump sum inside? You will then be left with the difficult task of explaining to the VO you have a lump sum and the money is going to a brand-new account- this gives too many red flags.
If you are selling a property let it go into your account with history, except the funds is from *********

Hello House, greetings to everyone. Question please. I have a study permit and want to apply for the Spousal Open work permit for my spouse and study permit for my kids. What is the best approach for it, should I apply myself or my spouse applies for it?

Okay, that is much better but he can get the visitor visa if he link the portal, do a new passport and send it over for stamping

No they don't.
You have to apply through OCAS though.
Go throughthe ocas site, there are lots of colleges with their specific program requirements in terms of subject like maths, chemistry and so on.
Then as for the agent stuff, i think it's just cambrian college that does this.

Another thing to note though, sometimes for mature applicants applying for diploma if the study gap year is quite high, admission may not be given.

Please if one gets a refusal and applies 4 days later is there a possibility of approval.
We are shocked at the refusal. But want to re apply with update on full payment of first semester fees and updated POF

Is there hope of approval before September classes resume

Ok wasn't aware of that but if it's cambrian that one is 100% agent, but there are other schools in Ontario you can try.
Just go through OCAS and look for colleges that do what u're looking for.
Ontario colleges seem more welcoming to international students

Why is everyone applying for visit visa for their kids? Is it allowed to apply for visit visa for kids and can they school and have resident permit? Is it also easier to get visit visas? Thanks
