Please if one gets a refusal and applies 4 days later is there a possibility of approval.
We are shocked at the refusal. But want to re apply with update on full payment of first semester fees and updated POF

Is there hope of approval before September classes resume

No guarantee they will respond before September classes resumes. If you can defer, do and apply for cbsc notes.

It's dangerous to assume approval will come just by injecting more funds without doing a holistic review of your whole application especially with your supporting docs

Contact your agent to check your portal and relate the message to you
Themmzyadewale:
Quick question, guys please I got an email that I have a message on my portal. And I have aiidy submitted my passport since July 14. I just got an email on Monday that it has arrived at ircc. Now my agent has not checked the message on my portal till now. I am worried about what message it can be. Do they send any email that we updated your application status before collecting of passport?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 8:47pm On Aug 05, 2023
Why do you think the visa was refused? You might be making same mistake again by rushing to send another application, kindly settle and analyze it or request for gcms note "moving fast on the wrong lane lead to nowhere"

Thnk you. I got the notif that my daughters Passport was at IRCC yesterday, also got the notif for Lagos pickup that same yesterday. It didn't take 3 days

Congrats!

I want to believe most of these notifications are autogenerated which may be a function of network flunctuation

I also got same notification for my folks' passports today.

Most important thing is your passports will be ready for collection soon. At this juncture, I guess it's safe for you to now buy your tickets for any September date.

Meanwhile, is there any implication for not going for passport collection at VFS after one month of notice? Passport owner is busy and out of town till month end. So he feels the passport is safer with VFS than having someone pick it for him?

Ok but the first bank account, l don't have much money on it, l don't know if it there it will fly so that l can just withdraw my money on the new account. Please guide me on what l can do.

Sending the funds to your old account helps you show the history of the account and prevents you from having to explain why you just opened a new account to receive funds.

Hello Nairalanders,
I've been a silent reader and follower of this thread, thanks to everyone who has taken their time to contribute to the thread.

Greetings Everyone, I have a challenge and I need your best advice to fix this, I recently got my PPR and I've sent my passport to VFS for Stamping but today I noticed my Admission has been revoked all in the name of Visa Delay Condition by the school even though I paid the First Semester tuition fees but they want me to defer admission to September 2024.
And also I have uploaded my Visa Request Letter On the Ocas portal but no response yet.

What is the best approach to tackle this?

Secondly won't this affect my PPR since I have revoked admission and my Passport is yet to be stamped?

I will appreciate every comment I get from you all, T for Thanks!

Hello house.
A wonderful morning to you all.
I want to ask a disturbing question.
I got admission into Algoma university and in the conditional offer, I am to pay a huge sum.
I related with my agent letting him know I cannot afford that money before the payment deadline because it was more than expected. The school demanded 11500cad as initial deposit and I can only afford 5000cad at the moment due to exchange rate wahala.
He said I can go ahead to initiate the payment and he will work on it with the school to get the unconditional offer as they always know what to do. That the major decision lies with the officials issuing visa documents and not mainly the school as you can pay the full fee and still get denied a visa.
I am very confused now because I can see the school stated it that the main condition for acceptance is the initial deposit as that is what grants the offer for a place in the school.
Please what should I do at this crossroad ?
Has anyone been in this kind of situation? How do I go about it please
Thanks as I await your response

Please help a brother. I need a response to this.

Look for a cheaper school.

Hello All, I need your advice. I applied for a Study permit to study at McGill University, Montreal Quebec. I used a POF of almost $200,000 CAD but the immigration officer still did not grant the Visa. Now I want to try another province. Which province and Universities are best now for getting Study permits?
Order for your gcms notes before you re-apply.

Write to the school or call them that you have sent your passport for stamping but waiting for it to be returned you can also send a screenshot of the tracking id message if they still remain silent, then kindly accept to defer it will not accept the passport stamping, you are only deferring the admission not declining it

Hi, Hope this isn't too late.

From Berger, get a vehicle to Lekki-Ajah, then drop at Ikate (third round-about), when you drop there, VFS is in the street just opposite where you drop.

Hey people....Hope y'all doing well? I need answers here please...

Do you know of anyone who has shown proof of funds of his/her personal savings using a microfinance bank account for the purpose of Canada study permit/student visa, (while the fellow will use MPower for tuition fee)? If yes, was the person successful?

If it's fanshawe.... Apply through skyned consult....it's free .....

Conestoga, Trent and Sait are great and don't require agent

I smell fowl play ..request for your Gcms note and maybe ask for your portal login from your agent ...hope you know your school can refund as well but also ....most importantly know the reason for disapproval

Hello Everyone
Please, someone handled my study permit application for me and when I logged into my profile, I discovered that the form for Temporary Resident Visa(IMMM 5257) was not uploaded. Is it that it’s not a required form to be filled for approval? What do I do please?

Anyone please?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Misstolaly(f): 2:03am On Aug 06, 2023
Have you been sending webforms and emails?

Call IRCC on Monday using the steps in the image below and watch your application approved (a decision sent to you) before end of next week. Did you do upfront medicals? Subscribe to Viber unlimited calls to Canada for NGN1100 per month (charged in USD) and be polite to the agents explaining how tensed you have been, they will leave a note on your case which will prompt a look over.

That's for the visa stamp in passport page!
Fill and send through Web form

Hey Guys, Is anyone aware of anybody on this Thread who applied at 30 years of age or older for a first Bachelor's degree or got their Study Permit approved? I have someone who is currently 30 years old, never had any University education; his highest qualification is WAEC and we are trying to apply for a Study Permit for him for an undergraduate program. I haven't seen that many similar situations out there. Pls, any tip will be helpful. Thanks a bunch.

I don't think that should be a problem, the only problem you'll need to prove is what have you been doing since high school ?
