If your DOB on your passport reg. doesn't tally with that of NIN, you won't be able to capture.
Go to NIN unit at immigration office there, they should be able to rectify it for you, before capturing or go to NIN office where you did the change and lay a complaint.
I don't know about others but this didn't work for me.

The age on my passport is different from the one on my NIN.

Immigration used the age on my Census birth certificate instead of the one on my NIN.

I'll drop my experience in the coming days. By the way, I applied last year and captured in January. It's not funny at all.

Birth certificate is legit, you'll have to change your birth date on NIN

NIS in Kaduna also fix some NIN issues.

As I was looking for where to submit the document, one NIS officer stepped on me and at the process of him saying sorry I just told him my issues (DIY, NIN palava) and he asked me not to worry then collect the document from me.
He took file from his office (though, I took files along) , put my document then straight to the capturing room and was called for capturing within an hour of getting there.
Although, he asked if I have anyone in there to make things fast (9ja way) which I told him NO.
After every every, I gave out 5k as office documentation as per what he said (I gave him as sacrifice, at least to have someone to monitor my passport processing).

Good day, people. Please, does the last item in the screenshot have to be ticked before I go for the passport? I applied via DIY & captured on November 7 last year at Festac office, Lagos.
I have same challenge and I went to passport office to check if it was ready but they said no. Were you able to get yours from passport office?

Have you been able to get the passport? I'm also having this issue. I captured since November 17 and up until now I'm still at the same stage as yours on the passport tracker portal

I believe it should be ready now, November is a long time, but I haven't had time to go and check. I don't think that tracker matters much at this stage.

Nice experiences
I equally applied online (30 pages, 5yrs) atrate of ₦17,800 by July of this 2023 in Kaduna which I booked appointment date for just four days online. When I got there, an officer told that it's free but they won't look at me on time and my file could be delayed, meaning that I have to pay for verification and fast processing.
We bargained at ₦5,000 which within 5 minutes he had bypassed the queue, took me inside for capturing. I did it successfully just for me to cross check if there is mistake on the application. The guy told me till two months before it will be ready which I will be ok with it, looking forward to get it by then.
My advice is do it online to save money but when you reach their office for capturing make sure you bargain with one of them in order to take you inside for capturing on time who can equally track the readiness of the passport.
Make sure you exchange contacts.

I paid online for my Nigerian passport last night, I'll be going the DIY way, I won't pay shi shi to anyone.

Applied : 27th August, 2022
Appointment : 19th September, 2022.

They're things that must change in this country.

I'll keep updating this thread.

Join me let's ride cheesy cheesy

Sequel to the date above, I just received my passport from NIS.

PS
Ever since I captured on 19th Sept, 2022, I didn't bother to check for my passport untill today 18th Jan., 2023.

While tracking, it was showing NIN verification but has already been produced.

So if you've captured for more than two months, please go and collect your passport. There's high tendency that your passport have been produced.

DIY IS THE WAY, WE NO DEY GIVE SHI SHI grin grin

I have some enquiries to make. Can I please mail you.
My date to captute is drawing near and. I need to confirm certain things before then.

Good day everyone,
I've got my capturing appointment at Alimosho PO later this week and I'll appreciate tips as I'm going the DIY route and I don't want to be extorted.
Also the guarantor form, does anyone have a guide for filling it?

Do it the way you intended to to it. You only need guarantor to sign the required position then proceed to the court for stamping. When you get to capturing center look for a cool officer, bargain (₦5k-10k as the case may be) with him for quick capturing on that day, he will be the one to fill the remaining space for you.
Make sure your guarantor provides you with photocopy of his/her passport page and NIN copy in the case of online which will deny them from bringing excuse on top of your matter.

Good luck
