The team lost to a ten man Italian team cos Amokachi and amuneke did not have adequate replacement. Even Yekini does not have a great substitute. Rest this talk guy man cos you were not even alive then. Name calling Kanu shows you know nothing about that team. Even Bulgaria that we defeated got to the semi finals. That team failed. Simple.

What i dont like about that generation is that they were underachievers. Tge france 98 team was more talented than the morocan team if the 2022 world cup but the moroccan team got better results. Indiscipline killed tgat generation. They failed Africa
Secondly we cant keep living in the past. We have gifted players now. Daniel daga and akinsanmiro are commjng up.
In fact danuel daga at 16 is wannted by Liverpool ac milan etc

He might be deployed differently, but he is as gifted as those players, if not more.

You are talking like Austin Eguavoen.
Let us forget about fame and past glories and critically look at player abilities.
He doesn't know if he his arguing about talent or something else

Why I talk football, you listen! I said it, didn't I?
Marjoribanks:
United heard Pep speaking great things about Onana and envisaged him at United sending passes to Rashford, ManUnited in their mumuism rushed to buy him. Pep is a cunning modasucker!! lol!
Replacing De gea with Onana is one of the worst transfer gaffe in history.

This Atlanta boy was spectacular for few months before he got injured since then he has not been the same. United carry 72m to go buy him. The guy wey dey recommend players to United no like United at all! United should have signed Vhlahovic instead!

This is proof that you just dove in to say whatever is on your mind.

Is Iheanacho one that can be called a naturally talented player? C'est fini

What has inconsistency have to do with that?

Ihenacho does not standout he doesn’t have the attributes of a cf or a ST I good showing out of 5 matches doesn’t make you good

Having god like finishing talent and actually entering positions to make you use those talents is mediocre.

What a top (not world class) striker needs ihenacho lacks in every department

But the people where right na 😂

We’re just strong and naturally born athletes

Freaks of nature i may add but you see that talent and technical ability we were lacking on that department both the male and female teams

You’re 1 man up against tired legs all you could do is lob ball to box 18 and get inshallah 😂

We have a throw near opponents 18 area but we have only 1 striker in their box

The amount of technical skill and awareness too show

If Europeans had our physical prowess with their knowledge it’s over

The world has seen hundreds of players with talent who never got to the zenith of their careers but that doesn't remove the fact that they have TALENT

Only a mischievous person that watched Kelechi at U17 and at Man City will be arguing he has no talent

I thought Westerhoff ego didn’t helped us against Italy for benching Samson Siasia against Italy.Siasia started the first three matches and was awesome with a goal against Argentina.

We lost that match not cuz of lacked of replacement but a silly mistake by Sunday Oliseh. The team was solid in all positions to the extent a gatecrasher Mike Emenalo fitted in perfectly for injured Ben Iroha.

All those players you've mentioned are average players.. can you compare any one of them to kanu And co? Please go and watch the USA 94 team.. it on YouTube
Pls tell me which clubs Mike Emenalo,Uche Okafor,Thompson Oliha,Stephen Keshi,Austin Eguavoen,Peter Rufai,Samson Siasia,Rashidi Yekini,Uche Okechucwu are playing for and their stats prior to US 94 and compare with what we have now…I think our present team need real tactician who understands the game to bring the bests out of them.

Westerhoff did justice to US 94 team that have average players cuz he gave them the confidence that “you can do it”

leave am mk i talk 🤣🤣🤣🤣

In that team the only player in a big club then was Finidi who was an Ajax player

Or to an extend I will say Amokachi who was with Brugge

The period we had players plying their trade in top clubs in europe was from 1996-2000
