I'm still a single young man. I'm almost approaching my 30s. But I'd love to share with you guys the most romantic marriage proposal I've ever witnessed.

I never believe this dude did all these, honestly speaking. What if things never worked as planned and she ended up turning down is proposing. Well, let me quickly elaborate before I bored you guys with unsolicited epistle.

Well, I was returning from a church service on a very sunny day. The church dismisses and everybody were in a hurry to go home. I heard someone Shouting at the top of his voice inside the church premises. He said someone stole is money which he claimed were in dollar from his bag. He immediately made an order that nobody is allowed to leave the premises. Did you believe he went directly to this lady. Telling her that she was the one who stole his money. That lady was terrified. People were just looking at them. This was going on for the past 20 mins. She tried to explain that she knows nothing about any stolen dollar. The dude immediately order her to check her bag. Behold, there was a black small shining bag inside her bag. She started stuttering. How come. People almost started calling her names that she's a thief.

Before you know what's happening. A handsome young man walked into the church premises and told her to open the bag. I don't know what got into her but it seems obviously that she has gotten a clear glance of what this is all about. Immediately she opened it. She found a ring and the dude went down on his kneels to propose. Omo, una go fear clapping and jubilation. On a second thought I felt this whole marriage proposal saga was fixed and rigged. It looks kind of fictional but I believe that was an entertaining scene to witnessed. Thank you

Of all reasons, na "accusation of theft" all of them fit plan. Totally unacceptable!
Some persons witnessed the guy accusing her and didn't wait to watch the drama till the end. Some might record half of the event and post that they caught a fine girl that stole dollars in church.

Hehehe, mine was church-arranged proposal. I visited The marriage committee and told them of my desire to marry her. The committee fixed a date for the proposals after all the necessary interview and tests were conducted and deemed satisfactory.

Prior to that day, I had never approached the sister for any form of discussion related to love or marriage apart from greetings.

On that day set for the proposal, Nov 11 2017, I waited at the church premises (venue for the proposal) with my head full of the love sentences I had crammed. Immediately she arrived, my God! All the words I crammed disappeared. (I'm a very shy person and practically she was the first lady I was able to speak to/ toast/propose to. The other ladies I have had as friends, I couldn't speak to them, they had to be the one to toast me ) Chai, I didn't know when I told her 'all the words have disappeared'.

It wasn't funny, she just replied it is well (and all became well). I just had to speak by fire by force, new set of words I never imagined came that moment.

I can still remember what I said,
... "God is not the author of confusion. I prayed for a woman who I would love, and who would be a perfect helpmate throughout all life's challenges and who would assist me on my journey to heaven and God revealed you to me. From that moment, there was genuine peace in my heart and I have loved you with all my heart since then. I sincerely love you and want you to be my wife."

She didn't say no. But she said she would go and pray about it. However, with the drama that took place before I spoke to her. I already believed she would later tell me a no. To add fuel to my fears, I was supposed to accompany her to the road for her to take a ride. However, her facial expression showed she wasn't enjoying my company, she walked very fast and left me.

Well, I finally got a yes after 3 (three) months. And we have been happily married for 5 (five) years.
