According to Steven He, you smell like joblessness.

On a serious note, why are you going into music? Just for the money or you believe there's a value you'll be adding to the society through music (which I strongly doubt).

Please pursue a more valuable career like tiling, car mechanic.

Stop being foolish. Just shut up if you have nothing useful to contribute here. I'm sure you are a jobless boy still living off your parents. Rubbish.

1. Come to Lagos.
2. Learn a musical instrument preferably piano or guitar.
3. Learn music itself. Both theory and pratical.
4. Join the choir of a very good church in your area or the technical unit.
5. Train your voice and start learning how to sing properly.
6. Learn how to DJ too.
7. Don't quit.
8. Go for every consert both in the church and in the world, you will network easily from there.

He said he wants to learn music production. He didn't tell you that he wanted to start singing.

I have a very portable/mini studio setup that I’m putting up for sale.. you should get it as it’ll help you a lot towards production.

Run away from women.
Be original. Don't copy anyone
At start, it may be tough, discouraging and perplexed, but remain focus and resolute.
Others will add their own
I pray, all will be well with you.

First, you should be able to play the Piano already. If you are yet to, go and learn that first before you ask this question. The piano or keyboard is the main instrument you must understand before you can learn production. If you have that skill, the other things you need to learn will be easy for you.

Oga no need to pay to learn music production.

Just get a PC and install Fruity Loops and any other plugins you can find. Fiddle with them until you master it. After you can make basic beats that's the time to start looking for a bigger studio to attach yourself to and upgrade your production, mixing & mastering skills.

PS: If you cannot master it on your own then you cannot learn it under paid internship and you will just waste your money.

Music production is an innate gift just like singing or playing football or musical instruments. You either have it or you don't.

But if you want otumokpo to blow fast without talent, just DM me.

Thanks brother ,I'll put that into consideration, i have a laptop though

Honestly, piano and guitar is are the instruments I've been looking to learn since childhood, but you know, hustling and bustling never gave me the chance yet, but I'm a very fast learner( In everything).

Well, I'm not jobless, and i'm going into the mussic industry cos of my passion for it,
Btw, I'm a multi talented person, I'm a song writter, singer, dancer( i once had a group of dancers), stunter, very good in acting, can also double as a comedian, a fitness model and very good in presenting...see, i don't think i can do anything aside showbiz.. so kick starting my career as a music producer i believe will catapult me into that lime light.

Plan to satisfy yourself & your God. Be patient to get all the info you need, correctly & accurately before leaving to Lagos else you may regret your decision moving to Lagos for career pursuit.

Without sustainable support the land of Lagos kills inbuilt career & give you another if you're lucky to live on.

Shalom...
thanks

The last paragraph is funny. Though His Advice is Truly Solid. He should really learn through his own practice first.

You better go back to it. I am a bassist and a producer. I learned most of the production parts myself. I had to learn the basis of piano. I can play fairly. I understand chord formation and progression. The better you are with the piano, the better unless u want to pay for the services of a pianist for your production.
I stated learning production in 2001 although had been inconsistent.
