My mason had 5 As and 3 Bs Almost all centers are special centres. What baffled me was his A in English and Literature. Someone that can't go beyond pidgin English. Jamb is currently the only legit exam. Waec is over rated
your mason can have such result in school out of brilliance but no financial capacity to further more with education.

Don't badmouth someone result out of jealousy cos u achieved less during your own time in school...

Moreover I will post her junior waec tomorrow it was also excellent..

My fear for her is that she came from a struggling family who may find it very difficult to further more due to financial issue but I trust God that no matter the situation relief and scholarship will come her way

I also attended one also and we have brilliant results also but now adays many don't regard public schools as schools where brilliant and excellent results can be achieved making many parents withdrawing their wards to private schools and special centers to sit for their external exams ..

When I knew waec is a scam was when a student of mine got A1 in math and further math. Like how now, if I had seen C I would have understood she did it herself but A1 in both math and further math from someone I know her capacity.

Good result.
However, Economics is required for any management or social science course.
I just hope WAEC will release the Economics result soon and it will be a good grade.
Commerce, Accounting & Marketing should suffice.

The game has changed unlike those days, when u most have one deficit of either English or mathematics.
It was due to poor teaching techniques then....These days, you have access to YouTube and other website to self taught yourself any subject you don't understand

Not true that you must have deficit of either English or Mathematics. There are people that passed both and indeed all papers at one sitting in those days too.

What Skill do you have that can translate to money ?
Mechanic
Plumber
Electrician
Mason
Business
Arts

We give too much credence to book knowledge.
How many Politicians or Presidents get A’s.

WAEC is falling in standard if these are the results we have from the children we teach.
80% pass is not true for the current Nigerian children in sec school.
I can defend this anytime.

The only true body of exam taken in Nigeria now is the Cambridge exam.

Even JAMB too is no longer true with the standard of marking as it was applied in the days of Ahmed Salim

Then no rival. They discovered that students are now doing and using passed NECO to gain admission more than WAEC.

Don't mind him, they are all of a sudden claiming special centres because Yorubas are besting them. Just change her names to one apku munching neanderthal and see how these hateful souls will be mouthing about their perceived superiority intelligence.
