My close neighbor and I were talking about our rent which is due in 2 months time and we open up to each other about the situation of the country and how we are still coping with feeding our family,school fees and other bills from our salaries with nothing left and some debts sef not to talk of savings for rent.

And I wonder how do people especially family men manage to pay their rent in this bad economy ??

Things are hard aswear, i thank God for my landlady, she understand how life in this country is.

You just must find way to pay your rentage, or dem go evict you.

you have a nice landlord,,,I pleaded with my landlord to reduce it to 6 months rent he no gree...Na A year rent he want and if you're a week late na wahala

I pray make God provide by December make I fit pay rent before E due for January . My landlady Dey hopeful say I de pay atimes 2months before rent due, I hope I no go disappoint this time around 🤣country frown 🥺

I don see the money , and I followed advise of some comments I read here, so I don freeze the money in palmpay till 22rd of December wey I go pay which is a month before my rent due . God go provide for others to pay their own . Make we de consider our landlords/landladies .

When it’s time to get it right we allow sentiments becloud our judgement. Just save up & pay. You need a roof over you & your family before anything else. Landlord too has to survive in this bad economy.

I know thing's are quite expensive now and cost of living is on the high side but if you can make plans on how and what to eat, definitely you should be able to make plans on how to pay rent because that's the person's source of income.

I see people who ask these questions as irresponsible fellas, it liken to the fact that the day your wife misses her period she has given you 9 months notice to prepare. Same thing goes for your rent, the day you rent the house start making provision for your next year rent either by setting a specific amount every month into a fund that will be yielding interest

For instance, if you rent is 60k, 500 naira a day would amount to 3000 a month and so 72k per year.

The Nigerian economy is melting down yet senators are receiving millions for vacation.

But, TOUGH TIMES BREEDS TOUGH MEN.

The money supply is been shattered completely and people staring at poverty, malnutrition and illnesses daily.

Prices of basic commodities are on rise to astronomical levels.

Taxes were so high and stock markets crashing.

The weak ones were completely annihilated from the surface of the country. Suicides and homicides were at an all-time high as anger and mental depression sweeps across the country.

- Prices of commodities are rising.

- Taxes are rising.

- The money supply system is tinkering.

- Jobs are being lost.

So, my question to you is this:

What are we to do in this economical breakdown ?

We are facing this upheaval because of the many soft/conning men in positions of leadership.

Nature has a perfect way of wiping away the weak, soft men and this is likely the time for soft men to be naturally removed from the earth.

During Post COVID too, Newer businesses were built, newer networks were created and newer profits were registered.

One such business is logistics which flourished during this COVID. There are other businesses that were sprang up like POS etc in subsequent recession.

This is the time to level up and rise above the obstacles.

When other men are whining, complaining and blaming the Government, this is your time to silently seize the opportunity and build a fortune for yourself.

The competition is weakening every day. Men today are chasing pleasure, entertainment, sex, and other senseless things. These are the men who are complaining, abusing their presidents and crying about the high cost of living.

There is no day the cost of living will favour you. The world will not stop because the cost of commodities has gone up.

The world will not stop because taxes have gone up.

Businesses will not end because the stock markets have collapsed.

This is the time to cut through the noise and rise above the clutter.

While your fellow men rush to watch on TV which politician has surged in opinion polls, it is your time to rush to your corner and learn a skill.

While your fellow men are complaining about rising in every commodity. It is your time to render lard, key into crashmining and live a healthy/wealthy life.

For every obstacle, one man will see the end of his dreams, another man will see an opportunity to fertilize his dreams.

Which man are you?

Life is not getting harder, it is men who are getting softer.
