In other words, we subscribe a lot in this country as per data price is high and tariffs are high too. This leads to high consumption of data. Furthermore, since NRI is low, it means we are not that productive online. 109 of 131 is poor. If it's not tribal and political banters, it is comedy skits and fake/irrelevant news, gossips and opinions (including mine lol). 1 Like |

victory36:We sub a lot as data prices and tariffs are high. Some of these countries you mentioned only subscribe once in a month (or twice max) as there are strict regulations in place to prevent exploitation by telcos. But some people think this is good news. Lol. |

This is the sort of unreliable inflated stats (including 4.1% unemployment rate) Nigeria submitted on its proposal to join an expanded BRICS and why their request was rejected and Ethiopia added instead - they lie far less. |

Nigeria is not having money problem only that the sp much huge populations are unproductive. We keep anticipating foreign investors to come and help us to develop the country while we spend the oil money on frivolity |

Per ITU 2016 figures, Nigeria had 145 million subscriptions out of a total 900 million subs in Africa. It is the largest market, but not up to 25% of the total. By 2021, world bank figures put sub Saharan Africa at almost a billion subs. About 995million with Nigeria at 195 million of that. Still not up to 25% of the sub Saharan region. Hence, def lesser for the Africa figure. Penetration in Africa is about 40 to 45%, below the global average. So there's ample space for improvement. However, any market expansions are going to be continent-wide and not isolated in one place. But why the silly stats ? You could simulate with figures like 25 or even 30 % (tho a lie, but believable). 82 is ridiculous. |

This is NOT good for Christianity and Islam. As Nigerians connect more with the rest of the world, many of them will come to realize that both Islam and Christianity are imported scams. |
