though am not in support of fake democracy, but let not surprise you that the only thing military can give a society is "security " anything else is zero.

Just like your previous dribble, you are posting nonsense. I mentioned Ibo because I went through your posts. You people have a penchant for always wanting things your way and bringing down the house if you don’t get it. It must be said. Every time the Ibos are not in concert with the Centre they bring or attempt to bring the house down. It’s also what you do anywhere you reside.

The coups going on in French speaking Africa are a fight for true independence. If you are knowledgeable you will know that French speaking West Africa are independent only on paper. It is not the same as the goings on in NIgeria or Ghana or other Anglophone countries.

Your issue isn’t governance but your ego and penchant to always win and dominate others. It is a trait that makes is difficult for you to accept defeat no matter how fair the contest. It is the trait that makes you successful in business but also the same trait that means you don’t mix well with others and so there is always conflict when enough of you accumulate in an area. Human relations is different from business. In business you can bully your competition and wipe them out. In human relations you can’t always win, human relations is about compromise….a trait severely lacking amongst the majority of your people which is why you never do well in politics outside your region. I am at least glad to see people like Umahi who truly understand politics is about compromise and trust.

Disappearing under the military is different from disappear under a civil government, at least in a civilian govt your people can make noise and raise alarm.

Finally it is not tribal mantra, it is a real thing. Why are you always the ones in conflict with everyone else?
Now I know you are such a nuisance in the Internet space. How you swerved the argument and bringing Igbo into my post shows your level of illiteracy and , hatred towards a particular tribe that has nothing to do with the issue on ground. Coup happened in other countries and you highlight the causes , they shout Igbo. Election came , a lagosian came for campaign, they shouted igbos want to take over Nigeria.

Listen you re.tard. firstly, I am not from South East , and no where in my post depicted any tribe. But because the guilty are always afraid , when you point justice, they think you are coming after them.

Whatever issue you have with igbos, maybe they collected your wife, your job, and beat you to your game, I do not know that and not interested. But please grow up, and cure yourself of illiteracy and discuss issues intelligently without looking for ethnic colouration into it even when no reason for such. oponu

Africans are happy with Coups. Nigeriains will welcome Coupe since rigging of election is Coup undecided

I don't get the logic.

If you want Coup in Nigeria because you're happy with Coup and Rigging of Nigeria election is Coup why not be happy with the Nigeria Coup you supposedly have?

Buhari supporters nearly brought the country down in 2011, and there were threats during the other years too. (Sharia law implementation was a way of telling OBJ to better not leave some people behind).

It isn't just Igbos. Assuming Tinubu lost, all the APC supporters would have been hailing the coup by now.(See Niger, and before them Mauritania. Oppositon comes and backs army rule all of a sudden).

Otherwise, your post makes good points.

Check it the history of Ibos alliance with the center. Whenever they feel they are not getting their way with the center the Ibos either sustain their protests and make life difficult for the ruling govt throughout its tenure orthey stage a coup. That’s what the history of Nigeria shows. 1966 despite being in alliance with the center when they weren’t getting their way they staged a coup. Shagari govt, despite being in alliance with NPN they tried to make life difficult for Shagari wirh Ezeoke who was speaker at the time defecting to NPP as part of that attempt. We know their propaganda since 2015. They will. Either make life difficult for you or try to topple you which is why our friend Pierocash is disposed to coups.

Whenever r they feel they have alliance with the center even as junior partners there is peace, otherwise sustained tension. Others will protest and move on waiting for their turn….not the Ibos….they must make life difficult for you or burn the house down. The Ibo man must see himself to have won or you can’t have peace.

The first true attribute is for people to make their choice at the poll without fear, intimidation, harassment or bribes.

Failing to create such an environment and then claiming democracy after the fact is nothing but pure and utter stupidity that can only be supported by the idiots whose preferred candidate came out favourably at the end of the day.

There's a saying that says "cutting off the head is not the solution to a bad headache".

The problem is the elite not the democracy system itself. That's what you guys don't get.

Nothing can be worse than a formal dictatorship.

It's not only Igbos. Most tribes do the same thing when they lose out of power.

I've mentioned 2011. In 2015, ND millitants threatened to blow up pipelines if Buhari took over, and they did. Also, many Yourbas did not accept Obasanjo's rule in 1999 because he was not 'Yourba enough'. It's even gone to religion. Muslims were making angry noises all thtoughout GEJ's regime, and when Buhari took over, Christians' came in and did the same.

Even with Tinubu, some Northerners are making noise already.

Nigerians all think that the election is free and fair if their side wins. A problem identified as early as 1979.

And not just Nigeria.

You keep pushing.

Like in America, all the civil rights black people enjoy, alongside other minorities...it was the result of decades of agitation, democracy, making compormises, more agitation. It wasn't a one day thing.

Under army rule, people were complaining and crying about not being heard back then too. You think it started yesterday?

I think you didn’t understand what I said. Everybody protests. Only Ibos sustain their protests or do something that messes up the entire system because they haven’t gotten their way like a coup.

Ibos have been on a war path against the north and the SW since 2015. Their own is not we protest and when we realize there is nothing we can do we accept and go back to life and wait for the next election, if the Ibo man loses he will make life difficult for your administration through your tenure.

Yes, the Ibos have been on 'warpath'...because their side lost. From 2010-15, the North was on the warpath against GEJ. From 1993-98, Yourbas were wroth with the Army (For good reason, but it also may have messed up the fight for democracy).

Still boils down to what I have been saying. Your side loses, you get angry, you start calling for fresh elections, etc. Even coup.

Those of you foaming in the mouth and calling for coup do not learn history.

Decree will take over and the constitution will be suspended. So tell me what rights do you have,?

Looting will be on a scale you have never witnessed. Nigeria will be set years back. A case study of Abacha is still fresh in our mind.

I doubt if any of you ever experienced military regime. African can evolve their own brands of democracy but definitely military regime is a no no. The military contributed immensely to the problem we are facing today.

The worst of democracy is better than the best of Military regime.

Which part of current Nigeria constitution you're benefiting from?
Abacha is not a bad leader forget about all the conspiracy.
During Abacha regime, standard of living is OK, dollar got not strength against naira, our foreign reserve is at high level and fuel price remain same during his time.
The only Sin of Abacha is that of his plan to transform himself to Civilian President.
