I just got my GCMS note after 9 days of applying via ATIP. My eligibility status is Recommend Interview, info sharing in progress, criminality and medical passed. What could this mean? This is my 15th week of waiting, applied May 17th. They requested for an updated MyBankStatement last week of August which I send the next day. This waiting is frustarating

This is the website for the Free ATIP CBSA notes. Somewhere on this thread, a detailed application steps was written by someone but I can't recall which of the pages. But I just followed the directions on the page and submitted, 2 weeks after, they mailed me to submit travel passport as proof of identity, I did and about a week later, the notes came in. Give it a shot.

My sponsor deposited 24m in my account in two batches 16m and 8m after thr exchange rate went up but I'm now worried the documents I submitted might be insufficient
My sponsor is a
Lawyer
Restaurant owner
Car and truck dealer
Petroleum dealer too ( 3 filling stations)
I added all thr CAC documents, deed of Assignment, letter of lease to Bovas and pictures of business area but I couldn't get any invoices or receipts as no one issues receipts to people buying food or petrol.

Incase of a refusal, God forbid what do you think I can do better next time

Depending on your location, check FB marketplace for student sublets, thats where I got mine after weeks of searching.

If you're buoyant enough reach out to housing agencies around and get a private room in a shared apartment. Doon is over an hr bus from my city so I'm not sure about housing around there.

if you sponsor is not your father or mother, a deed of gift that he will sign in person and court stamp is necessary
You have to submit documents that show that your sponsor has the ability to pay, loudest way to do this is his own 12 months mybank statement (I said 12 even though it looks excessive but to show a business is profitable, 12 months is the mark) , together with your own showing that he has gifted you the money and its not a loan.

Also, your sponsor need to write a short personalized letter of sponsorship, stating that he has given you the 24m and that is not a gift, and that he will be responsible for providing you with more money as when required, he will state what specifically he is funding for you (rent, books, tution, feeding etc ) , he can also promise in the same letter that he will be responsible for making sure that you leave Canada after your study.

present yourself as a man with family, family that loves him oooo, put fam pics .... talk about fam in in SOP and don't forget to mention in your SOP that you will leave Canada (this part you go talk am continuously for the SOP ... tell them I WILL LEAVE CANADA)

Letter of sponsorship with his NBA seal because na lawyer stating he has sent the money to me for Tuition and living expenses and will continue to support.

I also shower my home ties. Pictures of the family at various event, even used the family company as home time, I have my name in the memart.

Unfortunately I only attached my sponsor's 6 months bank statement not 12 with considerable inflow and outflow. I also heard business account is a no no so in this instance I used his personal bank statement

But where my issue stands is with the documentation for the funds. Is it enough?

People should please becareful of the agent you use to handle your visa application, before you embark please try and make a solid agreement between you and the agent to share your UCI#, Application#, Client Application Summary with you after he submit your application.

If the agent can't comply with all these please run ooo, I have a friend in this mess now.

A friend of mine used an agent to apply a visa for him in 2019, after all the match he didn't know either he was denied or ban.

Now he want to apply for a New visa and he didn't know all the information the agent he used in 2019 filled for him, no idea of UCI#, Application #, and Client Application Summary.

My question is that if this person want to reapply now and in other to avoid misrepresentation ie filling his correct information this time around and contradict the one the agent filled for him in 2019, what the person can do to avoid misrepresentation ?

Please how can we go about this? Is there a way he can retrieve his client application summary the agent filled for him in 2019 without UCI# ?

Also how can we know if he was denied or ban at that time in 2019.

Did biometric July 3rd and since then no update . School resumes September 18. Although I used an agent and he keeps saying no update yet . What can be done ? Kindly assist with any suggestions🙏🏾

Please I have been finding it difficult to make a payment on ircc portal for my application fee online for two weeks now. Each time I input my world debit card details, it requests for OTP which my bank(zenith) never sent to either my email or phone number.

yes you can use the new portal to do whatever you want same as the old portal
