I love all his songs but my favourite Glory album is Glory 3 Higher than High. This post is nostalgic reminds me of my childhood days when we danced to his songs doing choreography sweet memories.

Panam was a gospel music torch bearer with his unique western music style which northern christian artistes were known for, although he tried to evolve into sublime afro inclined beats in his masters of the universe album and subsequent albums. This particular album and the later ones were my least favorite because they showed a steady decline from the panam of the 80s and 90s.

Right before his first bring down the glory series was an album as rich as panams creativity, that included songs like, new Nigeria, christabel, i am free. Though i have lost both possession of the album and its title, the songs therein still ring fresh like i listened to them a few hours ago.

Modern day gen z christian musicians have long way to go. When we listen to the likes of panam percy paul, ojo ade, to mention a few, the fear of God is always strong in us. We always feel sober and try to always do the right thing. But today's musician are competing with the likes of davido and wiz kid( not all though, but majority). When you listen to Christian songs, you suppose go one corner begin reason your life and eternity.

In those days, when man was doing spiri spiri, the emboldened song above use to transcend my soul to the plane of spiritual holiness.

I used to like Christians songs many years ago. I remember listening to Don moen… I love it. And then gradually we start listening to local Christian songs. Mama Bola Are on B.C.O.S every Sunday Then, the a bit modern Christian singer. Opelope Anointing… because of the Baba suwe comedy in it, we will watch it everyday after school. It was very interesting.

Then Baba Ara scandal.Then we have every smokers trying to make a living on what I assume should be sacred , because the Christian want to socialize too , but in a Christian way. Then we have Christian Fuji, I used to assume Fuji is a dirty song, I guess my environment determines that. ...
