Yet those officers are going in left and right with people who pay them a fortune...I heard some ppl paid 100k just to bypass long sitting and fast tracking...

passport renewal is 35k yes you can do it yourself, but be prepared to be frustrated at their office and ready to wait for a long time even your payment may not be seen on their system..

How I wish his wishes and good desires can be shared by the evil corrupt officers working under him. Those people are super corrupt, they treat those who apply online like shit and give priority to those who paid bribe. I applied since June, this is September and nothing is yet to be done. Even those who paid bribe are also lamenting.

u mean the one I did for 25k 25 Pages is 35k to renew??...

I have a very close relation who is an Immigration officer. He is upright and sincere. Infact he stopped anything passport because even if he doesn't collect a dime from you, his colleagues won't process your work unless if you pay them extra fee.
Those who pay online, you guys will have it worse. They(Immigration Personnels) see it as a means of blocking their "egunje", so you'll suffer same delay for many months as a means of Payback.
Nigeria is far gone. Any hope of Redemption is seen as a stumbling block to them. These are same people crying over corruption here and there but will do far worse with the little power they have.
