Having resolved all the issues against the Petitioners and in favour of the respondents, this petition is clearly unmeritorious.

PEPC Says on the 25% votes in the FCT, the interpretation of section 134 (2) A & B by the Labour Party team of Lawyers is completely "fallacious if not outrightly ludicrous"

PEPC says the use of "and" doesn't imply anything special as submitted by Peter Obi of the Labour Party. The court further adds that section 134 (2) A & B of the constitution only refers to the FCT as one of the 36 States of the federation.

Peter Obi's Petition Dismissed for lack of merit.

If 25% votes in Abuja is that weighty, then there is no point wasting Billions to conduct elections across the country.

INEC go just conduct elections in Abuja and let the votes of those special humans living there decide the fate of we the lesser humans in other states 🙄

Doesn’t the language of the judges at the PEPC show something?

They use such strong languages to dismiss petitions so much so that some of us now think they are actually defending the respondents instead.

From all I’ve seen so far, there’s an agenda that’s being pushed by these judges and soon it shall be clear.

Only a daft would even argue about the 25% Abuja matter because it lacks reasoning.
Imagine someone arguing that even if a candidate wins all 36 states but earns less than 25% total votes in Abuja, then he cant be declared winner.
