There is a payment card where you preload your money. Before at the arrival arena there you will tap in and the money get debited. Once you tap the door opens and you pass to access the elevator or what ever means you wish to go up.
Same way you tap before using BRT. Infact you can use the card for both BRT and train.

Im not sure its the same track o, or maybe it was extended, not sure. This is the red line and its tracks are new.

The reason sanwo olu was able to do it fast is because most of its tracks are on the ground. Few routes above ground, so not like the blue line that is mostly above ground.

You can search 'red line' on twitter and see all the videos of the track. It doesnt look like the old one.

Sanwo-Olu really tried for finishing this blue line whilst constructing the red line at the same time. I'm sure Ambode will be regretting his decision to abandon this laudable and highly impactful project.

Phase one of the red line starts from Oyingbo and terminates at Agbado. The second Phase will head to Marina from Oyingbo, thereby linking the red line with the blue line. The phase one is 90% ready.

In a video that surfaced on the internet, they were seen running in order to meet up with the train which was about moving at that time.

According to Governor Sanwoolu’s aide, the crowd were coming from their respective offices and are bound to return to the Mainland from Marina.

No new track is laid for red line. It will share track with the federal govt's standard gauge. Lagos state only built the stations and the level crossing bridges for vehicles.

Okay so i got it now. If you look at the map, theres a grey train line next to the red line. Dts the old line that goes all the way to abeokuta, ibadan and then kaduna. The one Buhari did.
I think the red line uses parts of the old track at those points. So the grey line doesnt stop at lagos stations like the red line. From Iddo, its next stop is agege, then abeokuta and ibadan. But the red line will make stops at lagos stations, then extend to marina and to the airport.

This is an example of a viable project that will make huge profits and fund it's maintainance, service any loans and pay for it's expansion. Eg Abeokuta Expressway, through oshodi, through musihin to Yaba etc to link up.

It is unlike an airport hat was topic of discussion few weeks ago, built by a governor of (if I remember right) ebonyi state. Where no aircraft has landed since the commissioning of the facility. It was alledged lizards and grass has taken over the place. The anambra airport on the other hand is a viable one.
The Abuja metro from the airport is also an example of a non viable project as discussed last week on this forum.
