Greetings people, please I need an advise.
I have bsc physiology with 2.2, I want apply for msc kinesiology but from the schools requirement, msc is mostly 2.1 although this particular msc is course based, and i have limited fund for application fee. would you advise I go for college certificate or diploma related with physiology.
Focus: 2yrs or 16mnth program
If diploma, what are the possibilities of convincing the visa officer.
Thanks for replying.
Since you already have a 2:2, kindly go for a post graduate diploma or post graduate certificate. If you go for Diploma or Advanced Diploma, the VO might be concerned why you're going for a degree lower than the one you already had EXCEPT in rare cases where you wanna change career.

Hello,

My application is 12weeks old now. I applied from London but was refused after 2weeks. Reasons being my immigration status outside my country of origin and me having significant family ties in Canada - I don't have any family member in Canada though and I am legally resident in the UK. However, I reapplied and explained everything but I am yet to hear from them after 12weeks. Has anyone experienced this kinda delay? Eligibility not yet started on the tracker, GCMS notes requested for the ongoing application but it came back almost empty. GCMS notes for the refused application not out yet.

Thank you Nora for the response, pls how many months bank statement did you submit? I'm thinking of using 4 months statement, don't know if that would be a red flag..

Is it by duration or what.
Eg. I saw fitness and promotion which is 2yr diploma program but I can't really say if its pgdiploma or normal Diploma.
Thanks

If it's Post Graduate, you will see something like PGC or Ontario College Graduate Certificate. But, for diploma you will boldly see it on the school's website that it's written as Diploma or Adv diploma.

Is there a reason your husband wasn't included in the application? Maybe as home tie or something?

Good morning everyone
Thought to drop landing gists as this forum really helped me
1. Booked my flight (Lagos to Toronto) first week in August, best to book this early as I paid a lot for the flight ticket
2. The airline was Lufthansa, with a stop in Frankfurt
3. Left Nigeria by some minutes past 12 am and got to Frankfurt in less than 8 hours.
4. Connecting flight to Toronto got delayed by about 1 hour, but we still managed to get to Toronto almost as scheduled (Like 4:45pmToronto time)
5. At the point of entry, because I had done my Cbss declaration through arrivecan, the entry process was quick.
6. I then went to like a waiting area to get my study permit.
7. The wait for getting the study permit was a long one (waited for like 5hours and I really don’t know why).
8. Cbsa officer didn't ask that many questions, only proof of school fees payment which I provided. However I noticed that they asked one guy for his proof of course registration which he couldn’t provide hence they told he guy to wait, so it’s best to get all your documents ready as you might not be able to determine which one they’d ask for. I was with my admission letter, proof of funds, Airbnb booking details and proof of tuition payment but they only asked for the proof of school fees payment.
I’m eternally grateful to God for journey mercies and his favor throughout the whole relocation process and I’m also really grateful to this forum and the people here for all the information shared. You guys rock!!!!!
