Hi Bro…I Read what you wrote. I beg to disagree with you what u wrote about Tax … Tax on £2000 will not exceed £350…. Funny thing about this is that people abroad seems to be so secretive about what they worth, not because they don’t want to but because the environment (abroad) have trained them to understand that no matter what u have or acquire, everyone is equal before the law… U hardly see a house in Uk with fence…. Even the newbies on IG and TikTok seems to adjust immediately they move in… A family (Husband and wife can steadily save up £1500 - £2000 per month) I know what I’m talking about… I’m not saying it entirely easy but Ppl abroad tend to keep quiet most times about what they have.
Everyone is not equal abroad, abeg die this lie.

I am not in the US so I cant argue on that one, but in the Uk its way different, But then again the killings you are talking about is gun and knife crimes, in Nigeria people die from Motor accident and Illness more than gun and knife crime
People die through what you listed overthere too.

Living in America is quite different from the rest of the world, opportunities are endless. Salaries are very high & housing with mortgage is cheap compared to the rest of the world.

Whatever you're making in America is 5 times better & higher than the rest of the world, so that's it.

Thank you. This is what they don't understand and that is one core problem with Nigerians.

I know some abroad now, they are tired, it didn't work but can't come back becus of shame.
They got to abroad becus of the type of pictures Nigerians paint for them here that once they get abroad, they have made it in life.
One specifically has achieved nothing. Working life a machine and full of regrets. His story if like that for a lot of them too but he refused to return becus he would feel like a failure.
That is why many of them still go into fraud , drugs, human trafficking etc.
Omo, Nigerians with their wack mentality shaa.
If that wahala didn't burst out in Saudi the otter time, we wouldnt have known that there were many, many Nigerians who wanted to return home but no flight money.

These Naija abroadee promoters also make it look like everyone in Nigeria is dead hungry grin
You have said it all. God bless u sir.

You only need the 100m to brag around and diss people around you. People living abroad are not so money conscious like people from third world countries. The highest your useless 100m will get you are probably cars and house to show on your IG and all.
People are actually living and enjoying their lifestyle even with government monthly benefits of $1800 and heaven is not falling.
You are so jealous of him. Intimidation wan kill this one
We need serious reorientation in Nigeria.

please just name one business i will jump into it
Well I wished I could find the thread I could've directed you to it
A certain Nigerian guy based in Atlanta said he bought a box truck for $10k in auction he used $5k to fix and furnish it and was able to secure a contract with a local store
He stacked the money and got a trucking license and was able to used the revenue from that single truck to finance for two 18 wheelers with 5 years warranty.
I really wish I could keep track of his progress but that looks like a business that is bound to grow and expand with time
This is just one from lots of businesses one can go into.
You can go into Auto spare parts business
Turn into a scavenger in scrap and salvage yards pick up authentic parts and ship to African countries (not necessarily Nigeria)
I check salvage yards and see damaged cars sell for way less than $0.5k

Re: After JAPA - How Long It Took To Make Your First 100 Million by undergg:
I think these kind of questions are seeker questions so im happy to contribute. Also because it may help the younger folks
First I am talking from a vantage position in answering your question. Like the other gentleman said, I am also a dollar millionaire but London based and I have never had what you would call a business. All my money comes from 9 to 5 and real estate in the UK and I am in my 40s and been here over twenty years

To answer the question you need to think about what game you are playing. Clue it is found in mathematics and called game of averages

On the balance of probability, you are likely to make 100 million or 1000 million(1 billion naira ) - more quickly and more steadily in the top western countries than in Nigeria but there is an infinitesimal chance that you become mega rich in Nigeria but that depends mainly on if one of the demi gods in Nigeria decides to favour you

You are also likely to have the stability you need to keep stockpiling the money in the west compared to Nigeria where there is a lot of instability

Nigeria is top heavy. what I mean is that if you compare like for like, the top 1 percent Nigerians living in Nigeria are richer than the top 1 percent Nigerians living abroad but I think that is where it ends
the remaining 99 percent Nigerians living in Nigeria are not as rich as their counterpart overseas - I believe this is applicable if you are comparing like for like. Do not compare a cleaner in London to a tech guru in nigeria
A lot of my boys make £200,000 per year in tech (yeah you have to do two contracts but hey who told you making it is easy)
so if you are very well educated in the learned professions - and ready to put in the work at a young age you can save/invest £100k two to three years in the West

By the way UK people are not as poor as you think but it is not in our culture to brag. It is considered classless Also you still feel poor when you are worth 1 million dollars. Trust me

Everyone is not equal abroad, abeg die this lie.
There's no country where each tribe, race or individual is EQUAL to every other. It's simply IMPOSSIBLE, genetic variance is a proven biological fact. Equality sounds and feels good I admit that, but it doesn't exist. Among siblings there's variance of every kind you can think of, even twins have variance. There's no equality in life and furthermore, INEQUALITY is the basis of progress.

The specific intent of the thread is to generate clicks and traffic and also to generally malign or insult Nigerians living abroad. Basically, nobody or few people abroad have made ₦100million in 6 years. This has been going on for years, a specific set of people of a certain ideology are determined that young Nigerians should never experience freedom and a good life that can be achieved in the Anglo-West in general.

Your comment is very on point by the way. I've mentioned this exact thing about PROBABILITIES so many times but these people are so determined to push a nonsensical narrative, they PRETEND not to understand me. Or maybe they're obtuse. I've seen paychecks of oil & gas engineers in Nigeria who earn $1K per day but the total employees in the entire oil & gas industry, including gatemen and cooks, is 65,000 persons. This is one of the most lucrative industries in Nigeria, so what's the PROBABILITY of any random Nigerian in the general population earning even $1K per month?

And you touched on the Anglo culture of modesty. That's a good point. Thanks.

It's not the micro, it's the MACROeconomic situation that's the problem, I've done it from within and outside. It's people that have never done businesses with Nigeria, either domestically or from abroad, that talk so glibly about all the billions in profit to be made. You can make a million naira profit in one week from exporting to Nigeria or doing business within Nigeria and by the time you order equipment or supplies to replenish or replace, the value of that naira has depreciated by 5 to 10%, how do you make up such a loss that happens week after week, month after month and year after year? It's because the MONEY SUPPLY is recklessly pumped up to sustain stupid government policy like FUEL SUBSIDY and electricity and education subsidy. Yes some businesses work for a while but they are rarely sustainable in the face of continuous debasement. Unless the people you're selling to in Nigeria are paying you in hard currency.

Then there's dishonesty, fraud, inability to keep to agreements, sense of entitlement and on and on. Do you know how many times I've sent things to Nigeria and it's held up at the seaport and accummulates demurrage? Mostly due to Customs officers demanding bribes or enforcement of one crazy regulation or the other. I personally know people that have been put out of business by just that one factor alone. In fact let me say it, one fellow here borrowed a large amount of money from me to tackle this situation, at the end the cost was too much and he folded the venture. Total loss. It's really a futile situation. This I know. Or maybe I'm crazy.

My friend I'm being real. This is WHY people are suffering in Nigeria, this is WHY there's mass unemployment and underemployment, this is why poverty has grown to the extent that Nigeria is the Poverty Capital of the World.

Good Luck to Nigeria.

Seriously, the bolded always comes up as a reason when it comes to a matter of going abroad.

What do you really mean when you say "the future of the children are secured". Who secured it? How? I don't seem to understand that argument.

This is just an illusion. Yes, they have infrastructure. However, it is just the children that take the opportunities that will excel. The place is filled with lot of distractions and the laws restrict the parents to take either preventive or corrective actions . Most of their children don't do well in life. Mostly in rehab, doing one silly course, roaming the streets while relying on handouts. Just a few of them make it big.

No country signs any guarantee securing the future of any children in the world. Success is solely a function of how a child is determined to make the best out of life, irrespective of geographical location.
Fair argument
But let's be truthful
A child who grow up abroad has access to and cam become what most Nigerian kids who grew up in Nigeria can only DREAM OF

That's a fact so don't even bother arguing

The spectrum of what you can be in Nigeria is very much limited
