Olami27:Call the school directly and ask if there is any issue with your cas application. Had similar issues and was told to send an updated bank statement after which CAS was issued. |

Good morning House, I got the legal guardianship letter for my sister on the 5th of this month and I intend applying for her next week. Please house, Kindly share with me information or additional documents I need to make sure to include to avoid NSF mail. Thank you Ashirioluwa: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ashirioluwa: 10:48am On Sep 09, 2023 |
Ghaneeyah4me:Apply for her the way you would for your biological child, but remember to include the guardianship letter. I believe it will also be nice to back it up with a strong and convincing letter. Is the guardianship letter from a customary or magistrate court? My wife did the same thing a few months ago. She applied for her niece, who has been staying with her for over 3 years, and she used an affidavit of guardianship to support the application. The application was denied, and the reason given was that an affidavit of guardianship is an ordinary self-declaration document that doesn't confer legal guardianship or custody. |

Asking for someone: What’s the best website/airline for the cheapest fight to London, UK on a short notice? Also, if transiting through a country like France or Germany, is a transit visa required? Thanks in advance. |

Hello, it's a guardianship letter from a magistrates court. Ashirioluwa: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ashirioluwa: 2:37pm On Sep 09, 2023 |
Ghaneeyah4me:You're on the right track; the court's guardianship letter is a better option. In my wife's instance, she used an affidavit of guardianship that was sworn to in the presence of the commissioner of oath, but the visa officer didn't buy that. The visa officer asserted that the affidavit was simply a declaration signed by her in the presence of the commissioner of oath, and that it does not grant legal guardianship according to immigration law and policy. |

Ghaneeyah4me:Write a cover letter or introduction letter since you’re the one doing the application for her. Use the letter to summarize everything about the trip, your relationship with your niece, the reasons why you intend to take her along for the trip, the fund for the trip, what you guys plan to do or visit during the trip |

Please what's happening in VI TLS. I know about 4 of us who have been waiting since August 18th we did Biometric and still date no decision has been made yet. Yesterday made it the 15th working day me and my main applicant did our biometric and the application is still at DMC. We have made three (3) paid calls and still got a "awaiting decision" reply. What do we do as I think this issue is peculiar to VI TLS? |

justbehappy:Won’t they max out the 15 working days first before all these paid calls? 3 paid calls because what?? Even if the other 4 people you know are conjoined twins or quadruplets with you, no 2 applications are same. August 28th was a bank holiday. Kindly allow them 15 working days. Allow them decide the application because your paid calls are constituting a huge distraction. |

Hello All, My cousin received a mail from TLS that passport is ready for collection on the 5th of September. She has checked in and out of her mail box, spam and other for any refusal letter but none. Does that mean, visa was issued. Thanks. Attached is the mail.

Hello everyone. My aunty is applying for a UK visitor’s visa. My sister is inviting her and she works in one of the Fortune 50 companies, so she all her invite info is intact. My sister will sponsor the trip and will submit her bank statement & job information as required. However, my aunty is a businesswoman, she owns a registered salon, but does not have tax documents. Is it important to submit a tax document with her business bank statement? If yes, how does one go about getting it legitimately. Also is there anything we can add that will help the application? The only travel history my aunt has is to South Africa about 4 years ago. Thank you. |

Hi all, please i need advice on applying for a visitor visa for my mum from Uk. I live and work in Uk but not a UK citizen. Please what are the required documents needed to make the application successful. I will be the sponsor. Also, when it comes to me providing my bank statement, must their be a particular amount in my account or they just want to see the cash flow in my account(uk account). Will my mum also need to provide her bank statement if yes, must their be a particular amount in the account to make the application successful(what exactly do they want to see in mum’s account). Please a list of all required will be helpful. |

A bit of an odd one here but please can someone advice. How do I prove my mother is indeed my mother without a birth certificate? My mom misplaced my birth certificate over 20 years ago after we moved from a flood zone and we didn’t replace it. I’m applying for a visit visa for her to the UK |

tony2478:Wait till when you get a better paying job and also avoid money lodgements to boost your account. The 250k salary will not work, the large deposits to inflate account will also not work. U can afford to leave the job and seek asylum in the UK |

My salary has been increased and I also have other means of income in which I make savings as well.quote author=giselle237 post=125734029] Wait till when you get a better paying job and also avoid money lodgements to boost your account. tony2478:The main issue here is your account statement. If you know that you are using a particular bank account statement to support your visa application, then don't allow unnecessary inflows into that same account because the visa officer might see this as a deception to boost your financial situation. Your application was refused in September 2022, which is about a year now. If you know or believe that your situation has changed since the refusal, then you can reapply, but be sure that your account balance is good and there is no unnecessary deposit in the account. But what happened to your sponsor's (employer's) bank statement? This wasn't mentioned at all in the refusal letter. |

250k salary won’t work? That doesn’t sound true. I earn less than 170k monthly after tax in a government ministry and have been using that to get my visas and I never add any other source of income or sponsorship. Also note that the year I started this job, my salary was 75k and I still used it to get a successful Uk visa application. I guess it’s because of the lodgments in his account. giselle237: |
