Should He Compete For Her Love Overseas? by Dimaya(op):
Teeyee, Software developer, 26, in Canada seeks your advice on three problems in his potential relationship with "Cindy", 2nd year Uniport student.

Talking stage started 5months ago after his cousin (her church member connected them. He texts daily and calls once a week. She says she isn't ready for any relationship for the next two years while he wants to get married within 2-3 years

Problem 1: Despite dating several Canadian girls, he's in love with Cindy and scared of losing her if he waits. However, close friends and family advise he waits for some commitment before traveling down to Nigeria to see her.

Problem 2: Over three weeks, he sent N20,000 weekly as cash gifts, but she told him to stop. This month, he wants to buy her a birthday gift but he's afraid it might backfire.

Problem 3: This week, she confessed her feelings are split 50:50 between him and another guy in Nigeria. And she still isn't ready to start dating either. This reve made him emotionally exhausted, and wants to give up on love and even marriage because he has imagined their wedding day several times.

In this conversation, seeking love across continents , young Nigerians in their twenties and thirties read TeeYee's email and give him honest advice on love-distance pursuits.

He should come back to Nigeria, if possible write UTME again. The closer the prey, the easier the hunt.

Is he simping?
No, he is in love and he should continue sending money and begging the vaginarian until he reaps the fruits of his labour in love. I'm done advising anybody.
