This team conceded 16 goals from Nigeria and a total of 7 goals from the other 2 teams combined. We just need a good midfield to be a top team.

yes and I will advise using the same formation against superior teams

4-3-3 is the way to go
That midfield is a big headache. We need to sort it out asap

In my post I praised ndidi for he’s improved passing and decision making not Bruno

In Bruno’s part I only said he is better than zaidu from my observation in the game today

But him don twist wen I catch am say na zaidu n Bruno comparison prompt em response to the post 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

charlesemeka85:
Onyemaechi is a better ball player than zaidu

Ndidi seem to hv improved in he’s passes n decision making

forgiveness:

Not true. He just did the normal thing without pressure. We need to see his decision making under intense pressure.

Ndidi? You slow. Wetin concern me with Ndidi? I didn't even read your second paragraph. Ndidi doesn't have competitors in green white green for now.

You slow. Honestly. grin

If we must play two strikers up front,I prefer V.Boniface with Osimhen.

without taking anything away from Awoniyi,Boniface is more comfortable with ball on his feet and more composed.
I'm impressed with his debut, not in a hurry to impress yet he did.

I wonder y some want Iheanacho out of the team because of many strikers we currently have, forgetting he can also operates from midfield,or behind the strikers, and he usually does well.
In absence of Iwobi,I actually prefer Iheanacho to Aribo as the playmaker.

For Ndidi,
it looks like playing in the championship under his new coach is not completely a bad choice after all.
The pass he gave to Osimhen that leads to the penalty was very good.

It was sublime

We all want him to break the record, even to score more than 50 goals just like other African greats like Eto and co.
But nothing is certain in life,
It will always be by grace of God for us,u could say with luck if u like.
Injury and other unforseen circumstances could affect his chances, which we pray against.

When Agwahowa came into the pitcture,I thought he was going to break it but he did not.
Martins came,I said this is it,but he could not.
Even Iheanacho, many believed he was going break it and even attain a legendary status as Kanu and co,yet none of those possibilities came to be..

So by grace of God,he is going to break it.
Compared to other footballing nation,37 goals is not that much.
