- Biometrics done August 19th (Standard)
- Received by DMC August 21st
- No NSF, No interview, One paid mail and several follow ups later, finally got confirmation from a rep on 8th of September that a decision has been made.
- Got BRP mail on Sunday September 10th around 7:36am yesterday (Decision was made on Sept 7th)
- Application transferred to VAC 11th of September
- Application received by VAC 11th of September
- Collection mail and sms dropped around 4pm today , 11th of September
- Waiting to get my passport from DHL by say tomorrow 💃💃💃

So so happy because I resume on the 18th. Everyone waiting for a response will get one soon in Jesus name 🥹🫶🏾

I had an interview on 27th August. Few hours later, I was sent a link to pay for IHS as it showed $0.00 after filling the application form.

Payment was made early hours of 29th August and since then no update.

Just waiting and praying now as school resumes in less than two weeks.

My Sist did her Bio since August 10 and her Husband did his August 14, she’s the main Applicant. They got empty NSF, she got empty NSF twice, the 2nd was after a paid call on September 8. We’ve done 2 paid calls now and one escalation mail but still at Dmc. The whole process is draining her and affecting her badly. Any ideas here on what to do, will appreciate. Blessings all

someone told me there are exceptions if you hold a valid US or UK visa. Can anyone confirm?

If you have a valid US visa, then you won't be needing a transit visa .

My dependant have just submitted her application we noticed some changes on the questions asked, we weren't asked questions like have you been living together for 2 years ? If it was a proxy or arranged marriage ? E.t.c we didn't recieve any of the sensitive questions they normally ask. Could this be a problem ?

Turkish airline said there is refund but later said no refund because we booked from mytrip.com . The flight is non refundable, but does that really mean all that money has gone? Please help if you have ideas for me

Anyway, refunds are usually when it is the airlines fault I.e cancellations due to technical issues. When it comes to getting the appropriate transit visa that’s on you

Is her CAS and other certificates in her maiden name?! If so please leave her account with her maiden name

Turkish airline does not require transit visa if you are stopping at instabul. Which airport is your stop over?

And are you changing airport?

How many hours?

Do you have another stop over in Europe?

To get refund, you need follow up with trip.com
That’s why it’s always advisable to book directly from the airline

The change of name wasn’t necessary, she can apply with her maiden name, it doesn’t mean she isn’t married

Now there’s a confusion with what name she should go with

You should have printed a day after your deposit so the lump sum would not show and you could have avoided the NSF. Anyways it’s only you that know how and where the money came from so you should be able to defend it.

My application has stuck at DMC since 4th. No nsf, no message.

Please, could my wife biometric delayed be responsible for this?

I guess you are the MA, if yes then your wife won't delay your application. For standard application, the SLA is 15 working days. You can do paid email/call if you feel your application isn't moving.

Answer the question honestly. If you have being living together for 2yrs, YES. If not, NO.

The name on her passport carries more weight at this point. As the passport is her means of identification. She can use your own bank statement as her sponsor so she just sticks with her maiden name.

No, let her use her maiden name. My wife used her maiden name and her visa don show so maiden name isn't an issue.

follow up on the paid email since there's no extra charges. You can also reach out to your school to reach out to UKVI on your behalf.
