There was mild drama on Wednesday at the Ikorodu Cemetery in Lagos State as angry youths in the community obstructed the burial proceedings of late Nigerian singer and rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

New Telegraph had earlier reported that the late singer died on Tuesday, September 12 at the age of 27.

The tragic development has, however, plunged the entertainment industry, especially the music industry into despair.

The sudden death of Mohbad, which some reports stated was caused by an ear infection, continues to be a matter of controversy as fans demand for an autopsy.

In a video making rounds on social media, some Ikorodu residents were seen having a confrontation over the burial of the deceased.

The boys spoke in the Yoruba language and said they would not allow Mohbad’s corpse to be buried at the cemetery.

that was due to the vicinity of cemetery provided not too befitting for his personality, he deserves better than the environment... but does that matter? Rich & poor will be covered by same sand (nothing like LEKKI SAND)

The dead doesn't know where they buried them. So shouting that they buried him in an open or bushy area doesn't change anything.
They should just let dead rest, instead of dragging about where he is buried, they supposed to channel that energy to what causes his death. Up till no any vital information about the cause of his death

This is really difficult to understand. While we live we feel so important like the world would come to a stop without us. We are so dispensable - the hard truth. Rest on Mohbad. We are yet to come to terms with your sudden death. There should have been thorough investigation including autopsy. Dying of ear infection? Was it ear cancer? We need to know. R.I.P. Mohbad.
