Only LASU? same should be done in all state universities in the SW.

It is highly commendable after all, some foreign schools offer African language courses

Lagos is the beauty of one Nigeria as a cosmopolitan city. Imposing Yoruba dominance would be highly resisted by well meaning Nigerians from Igbo and Hausa-Fulani extraction.

Lol

I do not support this. The goal of every citadel of learning is to attract the best brains worldwide. This will certain restrict non Yoruba students. LASU should want to compete with Unilag, ife and the rest. If you want to cut some people down to size, this is the wrong way to go about it.
Not true. How has universities in Paris, Frankfurt, Moscow e.t.c been attracting foreign students? Even Americans come in regularly to OAU and UI as exchange students to learn Yoruba.

Let it be known that Igbos likewise myself rendered a lone voice against Yoruba ethnic domination and lordship in Lagos.

Other well meaning and patriotic Nigerians must condemn it too.

Every part of Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians irrespective of creed, ethnicity and religious inclination.

Not needed now.

Let it not be that the everyday-igbos are against them.

Just pray that Hausa people should wake up too and make Hausa language compulsory in Abuja.

Unity my left nyash

Igbo language has never been use to lord over non-indigenes in SouthEast.

It seems Igbos are the only liberal and accomodating majority in Nigeria at the moment.

In Igboland, "The live and let live" philosophy as portrayed in Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart remain the ultimate goal in peaceful and serene co-existence among indigenes and non-indigenes alike.

Cool. If I live in the SE region too, it’s probably going to be a very wise decision to learn the Igbo language.

Yorubas are always the first to throw a stone from a glass house only to turn around to accuse others of being bitter when their actions are being condemned.

SE governors should do the same in state owned schools. This has nothing to do with being liberal. If you don't know how to speak Yoruba, please learn the language. It will help you a lot

So?

I graduated from University of New Mexico as a Nigerian
Nobody enforced Spanish or Hispanic language on me

Remember University of New Mexico is one of the few Hispanic serving institution in the world
