-look for a way to cover the pot to deprive it of oxygen.

-get a wet towel or wet jeans and carry the pot outside to a safe area of the house.
- if the fire is still burning, look for sand.

I would have long shot the pot away with a kick from my leg. turn off the gas, then try to put out the fire in the pot.

Fire 🔥 needs oxygen to burn. Starve it of air and watch it quench 😂
