I just read on this. Can you please advise what details should be added in the PAP letter considering the previous refusals were on financial grounds and also if i feel i haven't satisfied the conditions of refusal I shouldn't bother going further with the PAP and just focus on reapplying.
Also please with her circumstances at this point, how else do you think i can build her personal ties to Nigeria and probably more documents to provide or if possibly i can send you an email to explain my situations to you more clearly and you can help with any advice.
Is she truly working and earning 600k? like truly? If yes, then you can work on her economic situation at first. Leave the UK for now until you have enough ammo.

Please house I have a situation that need your urgent attention.

My CoS is for 5 years and I paid $635 for is for a 5 year skilled worker visa for me and each of my dependants.

However I received a decision mail this morning that states that my permission is from 27/09/2023 to 2709/2026 for me and my partner dependant which is 3 years. I believe this is an error.

What should I do in this case? Still waiting for decision for a child dependant though. Kindly advise

If there's still time for correction, you can apply for correction before flying. if no there's no time, then you can fly with the visa and apply for correction when you land.

Please house, I really need advice regarding my UK student visa application. I did my biometrics on 11 July at TLScontact Abuja, did 4 paid calls and series of correspondence from paid email. But my application is still awaiting a decision till now. From the last escalation they said to have escalated to the "appropriate entry Clearance Team". Also, my school resumption date is on Monday, and I am yet to book flight or plan anything, I'm currently so disorganized and stressed. Someone advise me on what next to do or any email to forward my complaints to

You need to inform your school ASAP

I know some schools have a last day to resume or a rule about attending induction -
which can be up to 1 week after but anything outside this might need approval.

Contact them, explain the visa processing issue.

On the delay, short of paid calls and emails, I don't think there's any other way. Can your school try reaching out?

The UK Student thread might be more helpful to you: https://www.nairaland.com/7767052/uk-student-visa-tier-4

Has any one else seen the latest outrageous visa fee Increase by Sunak government?
Student visa to cost roughly 480k as against 124k from October. This people really don't give a damn about migrants.

Hi house,

I am super excited to find this thread and I have learnt a lot going through few of the contributions from recent months.

My question is this:

I got a CoS for Care Worker on the 1st September, 2023 which has a resumption date of 15th October 2023. I also got an Immigration lawyer in the U.K that did the visa application and sent me tls appointment and document check list like 3 pages that has a place I will sign on to take along for biometric.

I am done with biometric today, 13/9/2023.

What should I ask from him again? Hope I will get my visa?

Just a curious man. I'm tired of this country.

Thank you.

Make una please answer me biko....

nothing. Depends on whose mail was used to register for the visa process, keep tab with him just Incase a mail comes in for additional documents or interview and document pick-up mail too.

Please, with this new law of no switching for students until after course end date. Can the gurus help me interprete this.

"If you’re currently in the UK on a Student visa, you must also meet one of the following requirements:

you have completed the course you were sponsored to study
your job start date is after your course has finished
you have studied for a PhD for at least 24 months"

Does this mean one can apply for tier 2 now even though course ends by end of September but the work start date is after the course end date.

The additional fee for applying from outside UK is £127.

Anytime. I've seen folks who applied 2 months to expiration, others 2 weeks after expiration.

It depends on your travel plans.

Sounds pretty straightforward to me and the language is super clear.

E.g. If you are a student whose course ends 30th Sep and have received an offer for a job starting on the 15th Oct, then you can apply to switch to a Tier 2 visa.

I empathize with you, as 11th July is a very long time ago. You probably should inform your school of the current situation. Additionally, you may continue exchanging paid correspondence with UKVI.

after letting the school know the development as advised. Send Pre-action Protocol to the UKVI, they will get back to you with enough information from the department involved.

You must be silly and lack reading & comprehension skills.

How is £363 = ₦124k? Didn't you say it was previously ₦124k for visa fee?
