No! Oftentimes, they raised children that can't face the society. Though disciplined, they are not bold enough to stand against challenges

It depends on your definition of strictness.
If it means restricting your child from socialization, then that's crazy.
If it means not allowing your children talk about their personal challenges to you freely, then that's more crazy.
If it means always sparking them for every little thing they do, then that's so crazy.

Am yet to see the advantages of strict parenting. It full of disadvantages.

What ever you are, you will give birth to it, strict or no strict is in the blood, you will know your child better if you give him or her a free hand, many of them who are well discipline are those who end up been a cult member in school. Please in all you do remember that if you spare the rod you spoil the child and this rod must not be a stick or belt, this rod has to be something that would give them something to think about when they want to go astray. A father or mother must be strict, that way they will understand one very important rule in life, which is action and consequences. I disagree. Every child is unique and different. Some children require iron hands for them to toe the path of success as they will never yield or respond to soft talking.

Children are Humans and as a result cannot be put in a box and be given the same treatment while the parents expect same response.

Correct a child with your left hand (Strict Code of Conduct) love and respect him with your Right hand ( Parent Child Communication, Love, Caring and providing their basic need) This is why the Bible says spare the rod and spoil the child.

I cant totally disagree with u, but from my limited experience, they raise the best children....

All my guys, classmates and close associates raised with steel hands are appreciating it today....most of them are out of the country with cool professional careers and the ones in Nigeria are doing very well in their various fields...though some are still hustling, but they are well behaved and understands that there are consequences for actions and inactions.....

the ones raised with free hands are the ones selling their papa lands today!.... not making this up bro...

I further observed that most of them are from parents who are teachers and educators generally......they were very strict with us, ensure that we study hard and try to make us chose professional career path.....

A lot of us are just importing some fractured parenting styles from the west and that is why their society is crumbling in terms of morals today...
and mind u, these Americans still whoop the asses of their children especially the northerners...dont fall for those shit u see on social media
