It actually work my brother.

I registered for NIN around 2013 or 2014. I didn’t register again when people were rushing to do sọ recently. I had to go Online 2 mouth ago with the believe that I should be able to print my slip (the one carrying the NIN number because the one they gave me when I registered didn’t have NIN number on it) through their website. Luckily for me, I got information on how to print my national id card itself in to ways: one need that you Download the NIN app on google play and generate your unique log in information which I did. I paid roughly N1200 through remita and got the id card sent to me in pdf format. You can print it on plastic card also. Me save mine on phone and printed it later
Impressive.

The new interior minister has hit the ground running....he will soon start flying...

Is as if some ministers are sleeping e.g labour

This is not about new Interior Minister.

This is about the woman, Abisoye Coker-Odusote, from the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA) that Tinubu appointed as the new NIMC DG.

So all previous NIMC DGs did not have sense before to do things digitally?

Chris Onyemenam and Aliyu Abubakar Aziz are useless and dumb animals.

We are killing ourselves to do Nin yet the government cana use the Nin to fish out the evil ones among us, we registered all sim cards yet people are still using the registered sim cards to perpetrate evil without being traced. Everything about Nigeria is failure

That’s like a BIG STEP forward tho.
Now more Malians and Nigerians will obtain the NIN.
The NIN is a very shoddy job. Worse than the PVC. Many foreigners have it. Especially West Africans.

Hope it can detect and prevent fake/foreign registrants?

Have you used the NIMC apo on Google Playstore and Apple app store? It works perfectly, and they have been constantly updating it.

Go and download it, and stop castigating everything NIGERIAN.

Life shouldn't be complicated.
Same way there should be Database of Graduates.
NYSC and TRCN have enormous Data that are very critical for Decisions making.
I think NASSIM/Npower also has a reliable Database of Unemployed Nigerian Graduates.
To the guy above me, I understand your reservation.
But, it appears that more competent people are taking over the helms of affairs of some different ministries and parastatals of recent.
Take a Clue at how NTA all of a sudden revived.
I recently updated the NIMC app on play store and I can tell that the recently released version is better and I can give it a rating of 4.0, hopefully, it will get to at least 4.5 in the nearest future.
The government should invest more in staff training.
Especially in Data Science /Analytics as it will champion accelerated growth and productivity.

Data Scientist or Analyst spoted.
You have spoken well. We have plenty unharnessed data in this country. The real problem is either lack of knowledge on how to leverage on the datas, or it's the mindset. Some raises concern over one project, like one apps or the other, while their undertone may be to cash out, hence, reason why many of such projects thus far either have failed or do not gain ground.
It's time the role of Data Team are brought to the limelight.
Things can really get better done.

It also allows modifications, such as the change of one’s age, which the Barnksforte CEO said can only be done once on the application.

If this is actually true of which I'm usually skeptical of always, it save some of the unnecessary hassle of paying 15k and above and still the modifications wouldn't be done.
