I disagree. The guy is right about the Hilux. The F150s are great, durable trucks but they wouldn't survive longer than the Hilux in harsher driving conditions.

There is a reason why if you go to any desert, in the toughest of conditions, be it Afghanistan or Nigeria or Sahara you will find hilux and not Ford Explorer or GMC. BTW Tacoma is simple the American version of the hilux with coil springs for comfort instead of rear leaf suspension. It is not as tough as the hilux because of this.

I totally disagree with the 2005 Honda Accord and to a lesser extent... VW Golf.... these two definitely shouldn't be on the list. Despite the Accord being the latest on the market .... I rarely see that car which tells me it is not durable. The VW Golf... that's a very rare sight. I see 1994 Corolla more often than both of them combined. I994/1998 Corolla should be on the list. 1997 - 2000 Camry .... Pencil Light ... how can that not be on the list? This one should be number 1.... still on the road being manhandled by drivers with little regards for maintenance.
