I have only being on1 trade since a month now, lol.... That's my own style. Today makes it exactly one month I have being holding my AUDJPY buy, trade not doing bad. The way I select trades eehhh, the most I can get in a month is 2-3 trades. This doesn't mean I won't chop loss though. I only discipline myself really hard because forex is a big business.

Yes brother, for someone like me planning to keep a trade for a day or two max, current trend in a month will definitely have bigger impact than a 6months trend showing the opposite.

My mentor shevychen2 I learned from here on nairaland is a swing trader, same as Capitals, Pipsbasketing, OnemillionBTC and GabsonFX2 are all swing traders, but as a beginner, I should learn to crawl, before I plan on walking not to talk of running.

I switched to weekly timeframe during the weekend, and I saw things for real. I think forex timeframes are interwoven, whatever you do that works on scalping, would work on daily trading, and also on swing trading. All you need is just to perfect your entry and with a reasonable SL to handle some retraces before it starts going your way.

You started well then sir. I wasted almost 2 years of my life chasing the wrong knowledge in the wrong order. It was when I joined FTA 21 I even knew there was a wrong way to trade, I had to unlearn everything I knew and rid myself of habits. Started working on psychology proper this year.


You don't seem to have any of those issues, you might be one of those exceptions to trading that go through it all in under a year and become profitable consistently. I'm rooting for you, we'd all get there soon boss.
