I prefer manual transmission than auto tramission:
1. It gives driver direct control connection with the engine.
2. When driving your agility is very high.
3. Manual transmission is more economical than auto. Etc

But it takes time to switch gears and there’s nothing you can do about It, but you can do something about it in manual.

With good maneuver of manual gear, manual car will run faster than automatic gear car. It all depends on driver's experience. This is why race cars are built with manual gears, not automatic gears.

Well, I will say Manuals are faster...cos, the changing of gears increases speed, and in a long way, the acceleration.

Somehow, I haven't seen an automatic car used for racing. It's always manual...and you always see them, with the gear changing as often as possible.

It depends on the engine size.

Driven both. Automatic really good with so much relaxation. But i love to be in control of my speed, been aligned with my engine... That feel of control and power in tune with the engine...sh*t.
