you should check Mexico vs Italy 2002 World Cup, Bogheti’s (not sure about the spelling) header is too delicious

Sweet sweet header. Watched it by random chance two weeks ago and I was struck by the casual yet deliberate intent of the header. Just watched it again. Thanks man

Look, Meli my man. Ejuke is a bundle of talents but his decision making is his biggest let down. I may sound harsh but piss poor is still what it is because in several crucial moments of the game, Ejuke makes decisions that frustrate more than excite. He needs serious work to fulfill his huge potentials else he would be remembered as just another "football masquerade dancer".

You won't point out instances where he made superb decisions that made the difference.

You used the words: several and crucial to describe moments he was piss poor in decision making. I believe you can't list more than three several crucial moments he was piss poor in decision making.

Players normally have their highs and lows.

We have a few Scorers and starters in 3rd tier European leagues today but I don't think any of you would be interested in reports from 3rd tier league football so that is why I don't drop reports on it. I get the notifications every weekend and during weekdays when Naija Talents/Players are in action in these lower tier leagues as well.

Lots to keep up with from the Big 5 leagues to the top tier leagues outside the Big 5 and to 2nd tier leagues and then 3rd tier and backwater leagues.

You never know where the next bonafide talent could crop out from. Remember, Orban Gift came from 2nd tier Norway.😉

We move.

You assume too much and it makes your stance on ejuke even more ridiculous. At Afcon 2021 alone, I can name instances where his decision making was crap... absolutely crap. The lad is piss poor in decision making and until he improves on that, we can't really talk about what he brings to the Super Eagles.

If you have taken the time to read how Royal Antwerp play, you will conclude that we don't have wingers with skill sets that can do what Balikwisha does for Antwerp.

As far as Balikwisha is fit, he will always start games.
Except our wingers improve in those skill sets.

It is sacrilegious even bringing Chukwueze and Lookman into this conversation about whether our Wingers can start for Royal Antwerp. Such a ridiculous claim to make and no amount of analysis will back it up even.

Even Moses Simon started for Gent in Belgium. Dominated Belgium and that is who Meliforme feels won't start in this present antwerp team because of who?? Balikwisha, Muja and Kerk?? Seriously??

Even Yira Sor is facing tougher wing competition at Genk from Joseph Paintsil. Na wa. He also met Mike Tresor there before Mike left. No player in Belgium had more assists last season than Tresor (24 assists). Paintsil had 11.

Balikwisha had just one assist in 28 starts (33 games). That is who our Super Eagles wingers will be playing inferior to??

I shake my head at certain takes especially when I perceive it as obviously megabiased.

if ejike is as good as you hype him here he won’t be languishing on the bench of any Belgian club, at worst he should be a leader if he desires to remain in any club in Belgium

At his age, exposure and experience in europe he should hv atleast be playing for a mid table club in France, Germany, England, Italy or Spain

That was exactly my thoughts about Ejuke until he moved to Antwerp, and i studied Antwerp, and the player that is starting ahead of him.

Obviously you didn't see Afcon 2021 for you to be making such ridiculous request. Go watch Ejuke at that tournament with a "clear mind" devoid of bias and your question will be answered. No stress.

we're supposed to sit deep in this game and hit Argentina on the counter because we've got pacey forwards, Siasia ruined it.
To play that Argentine team that had the likes of Messi and Aguero is not easy by any means.
A game the referee awarded two penalties against us,and u r talking about sitting deep and do what?

Siasia did his best,
If Keshi were to meet those Argentine teams, there is nothing much he would have done

It is not anyone's fault that he went to the WC, didn't cut it and got BENCHED by Julian Alvarez. That is what affected his initial hype built. Martinez didn't shine at the Mundial.

Martinez has always been rated since 2016/17 in Argentina.

When Osimhen was recording his first double figures in a European season in 2018/2019 at Charleroi, Martinez was already in his 3rd Pro season and at Inter Milan.

So Osimhen was behind Martinez but have rightly and deservedly worked his way up to become one of the best strikers in the world and a Top 3 striker/Hitman of the new generation of strikers/forwards ruling football today which also includes Haaland and Mbappe.

So let us hear word on Martinez. He has always been rated.
