The coming days will be very interesting ! Yesterday's attack across southern Israel has Iran's fingerprints all over it. There was no way Hamas could have singlehandedly planned and executed such a largescale attacks without the backing of Tehran. The Whitehouse and Israeli's Knesset are already aware of that fact. As for the Hamas,they have no idea what is about to hit them !

My concern is that the entire Middle East region is likely to become a theatre of a very bloody war in a few days to come if care is not taken ! I don't see how Tehran will escape being attacked by Israel this time around and that will change the dynamics of the whole situation. Israel is ready for war in the Middle East now and with the Americans' backing,they can cause a lot of damage to their enemies !

Hamas have crossed the Rubicon!

Israel doesn't need to call anyone.

USA knows the Arab world so well. The same thing they did in 1967 could want to play out. They ganged up against Israel thinking they could wipe Israel out. Israel singlehandedly fought them and within Six Days all of them started calling on United Nations to beg Israel to stop the war.
Israel conquered many of their lands and returned some to some of them who came with an olive branch years later.

Carrying out a military operation where civilians become casualties as collateral damage is a different ball game. Israeli forces may have shot civilians during protest/confrontations with Palestinians but it doesn't fall within the context of what Hamas just did. This is not the first time Hamas is killing Israeli civilians but this one is different because it was unprovoked at least not immediately and Hamas basically just launched this operation to kill civilians. How do you define when a gunman just go into the streets and start shooting anybody on sight, dragging people out from their homes and shooting them at point blank. What about the Israeli holiday dance festival that they attacked and shot over 200 civilians dead. Out of the reported casualties from the Israeli side, dead soldiers are less than 50 with civilians making up the other number. How about the massive kidnappings.

Like I said, what you are accusing Israel of does not fall within the context of what Hamas has done. There is hardly any military in the world that has not killed civilians in small pockets whether deliberately or inadvertently during confrontations but basically targeting civilians in a military operation is a different dimension and can only be described as a terrorist attack.

Based on what they declared, yes you will think Russia has more nuclear weapons than the US. But don't forget, based on what they declared.

Israel is a nuclear armed nation but never declared it but the world knows they have the capability.

Number of nuclear weapons is not what matters but how you maintain it overtime and the delivery mechanism. US has an outstanding number of delivery mechanism more than any nations on earth.

Russia has been threatening to use nuclear weapon in Ukraine but they won't dare. US has pointedly warned them, and clearly stated what the repercussions will be.

How many times have you seen the United States openly showing off military capabilities, like China, Russia, North Korea and Iran.

US is a beast, Russia and China perfectly understand it

Iran will never attack Israel directly but they play the power projection game that the US and Europe has mastered for centuries - arm rebels and terrorists to cause destabilization. America should simply arm Israel like they always do and not get physically involved in the crisis. If they do and get Iran involved in the world, it's going to be a long drawn out war.

We often under estimate the Iranians - those guys are warriors and by far the strongest military in the middle east if you remove Turkey. They're comparable to the Turkish military and these are not country that any country in the world can just wake up one day and start a war with them
