Hi everyone! My application for Canada visit visa has been approved.

Here is the timeline of my application:

Application date: 9th Sept 2023

Biometrics: 28th Sept 2023

PPR: 10th Oct. 2023

Travel History: (1) S. Korea (2) USA

I am currently living in the US with a valid US visa.

Hello house, I did my biometric capturing on the 28th of July, up till now, I haven't heard anything from them. Is there any chance of still getting back to. Also I tried tracking my application with visa tracking application Id provided on my mail, the response I got is "no record found", please what might be the issue?

Well, i can't really dispute your point. However, i had a different experience at Pearson Airport. Initially i booked my flight from Lagos to Amsterdam to Calgary(my destination). I avoided Pearson Airport as well. But as fate would have it, the day i was meant to travel, my flight from Amsterdam to Calgary was cancelled and rerouted to Toronto then Calgary. I had no choice but to fly that route. On landing at Pearson Airport, I summoned the courage to face the immigration officer. Our conversation went thus:
IM Officer: Can i have your passport
Me: I handed it to him
IM Officer: Why are you in Canada?
Me: I'm here to visit my family(Spouse & Child have PR)
IM Officer: Where are they?
Me: Calgary
IM Officer: 1st time in Canada?
Me: Yes
IM Officer: When are you leaving?
Me: In a month's time.
IM Officer: Do you have a return ticket?
Me: Yes
IM Officer: Can I see it?
Me: I showed it to him on my phone.
IM Officer: Welcome to Canada
Me: Thank you.
I left and went my way to board my connecting flight to Canada. Our discussion was about 3 mins and that was it. This was about 2weeks+. Just ensure you have necessary documents, cash to cover your stay just incase you are asked. Maybe mine was easy because i have my family here or it was God or both. Be prayerful as well. Not that I know it all, I have that first and info concerning Toronto POE, and that's why I'm helping people here with it, Toronto POE border officers are very strict and they can refuse people entry into Canada, they do it many times, so I'm just trying to help in a little way I can to save my fellow African brothers and sisters from such bad experience , you know once they turn you back flight ticket to and fro don burn be that, maybe over 2m naira... Many people even do borrow the money to go self, some sell their cars or house, so where such person wan go raise that kind money again if Toronto POE send am back?


Pls always pass Montreal POE if it's your first time, even if you are going for visit in Ontario which is in Toronto, yes Montreal border officers will ask you why u come thru Montreal when ur destination is Ontario... Don't tell them because you heard they are nice ooo and Toronto POE is harsh o, them go send u back be that, just tell them it's your ticketing agent that booked the flight for you that he said as at the time this flight was the cheapest he got, so you didnt mind, with such excuse they will pass you in.

Why should hotel booking should be 7-10days? I don't get you.

You can even book for a single day

Make sure your hotel reservation covers your stay....

Don't just try to take any chances, Canadian border agency at Pearson no too get joy like that.

You are spending 6days as a tourist, why having 3 days hotel reservation?.

Just booked 6days, pay for the first night, you can figure out the rest when you enter Canada.

To track your application, you have to go to IRCC platform ( Track my application) to create your profile using you application no. UCI and other details. You then log in and see the status.

I don't even know why u guys use agent for application that is very easy for u to apply by urself. Una go still give am big money o and still the agent go dey lie lie give u about ur application. Biko u guys should give me 30% of the money u give agents and I go run everything for una completely and even give una access to una application o unlike una agent that won't give u access to ur application
