How is this JPs fault? I don't really understand you guys? The Saudis created one chance from open play while Paserios team were missing sitters upon sitters yet you blame Paserio? Uzoho put the ball in his own net and Aribo mistakenly stepped on a players leg to gift Saudis goal yet you play JP? I do not understand? Seriously! charlesemeka85: |

Simple modern football is not hard for any observant fan to see. Set up structure in opponents half that will give superior advantage with possession. Any foolish Defender that can't pass will have to goan learn. This setup means you have most times, 6 bodies in opponents half at least and 8 at most with two ball playing CBs at the centre circle. Any loss of possession is met with swift recovery by nearest players before they see passing zones. This is just from observation and is not the totality of such setup but What do i know? Nothing 😂 |

Kog45:Agreed freekick na goal. At this point, I dont think we should fire JP so we don't repeat what happened last time with Rohr. I think our game was good, we controlled the game unlike our previous matches, goalkeeping errors cost us too. |

I don't think we should be defending a 2-1 lead against Saudi in a friendly?? We really spared them today and maybe some of our players respected Mancini too much or something, cuz we should be winning this match atleast 3-1.. fun fact - just before the free kick, I knew it was a goal so I was not surprised at all. |

Marjoribanks:it is not about the Saudi’s but peseiro’s game management bro. Na emotions Abi sentiment mk u no observe that which was clear and obvious to many here?😳 Saudi didn’t create anything but tactically were better in the second half which lead to them equalizing Bro Saudi team is poor talent wise but tactically they managed to get something out of the game If you noticed in the second half they started dribbling more to penetrate our defense in order to get a penalty which they protested for like 3 times but the referee called them off. They resorted to that pattern of play because they know they lack the technicality and creative heads to penetrate our defense This is the pattern that got them the equalizer bro Try dey read and understand tactics/game approach when watching games If possible try and watch the replay of the game to understand all I stated above 2 Likes |

Marjoribanks: Either he doesn't have personnel to stop that nonsense or he is just too rigid in changing rubbish when he sees it. That is why the buck ends with him mostly. 4 players see a combined 22chances and waste it, for example. But coach keeps giving them top treatment. They'll never learn or get more clinical. If such player now wake up tomorrow, randomly, people go say Coach sabi. Whereas na probability situo. Coach needs to step up with Giant legs or these guys will continue to play mixture of Flair Street Nonsense Anything-Goes And no matter what, na Captain of such ship go get the blame. So why surprised?? 1 Like |

One thing i hate with our football most times is you have a higher chance of decoding the opponents game plan than our own game plan. Ours gives headache too much. Saudi own was too obvious. Bissau own was obvious after 20mins. We go dey alright sha. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Adeleye is simply not the solution. He is a poor man Onana! The coach has to search like Onigbinde did to get Enyeama when Ejide was flopping like Maduka and Uzoho. The Ivorian Golden generation failed cos of lack of a good goal keeper while the Egyptian won three AFCONs in a role thanks to a solid goalkeeper. We are in a goal keeping crisis and the solution is here in Nigeria's 200 million population. Source for goalkeepers in the grassroots not these ones in the league. It is a matter of urgency else we might just kiss AFCON good bye! 14 Likes 1 Share |

Who’s fault is that? And from your own observation do u think jpes did what he was suppose to do as a tactician inorder to kill off the game ? |

Lookman and Chuks played to the gallery today and were very wasteful in front of goal. Seems Ebuehi has finally lost his AFCON spot with his performance today. It's Bright and Aina for that No 2 spot abeg Please Sadiq Umar has no business in SE and should not be invited again. Gift Orban would have been better. Jpes failed to play Jordan again today, Ok ooo. And for Francis Uzoho! Let me just keep quiet. But NFF should get us that Bendel Insurance keeper abeg 3 Likes 3 Shares |

And then I check my own and be so critical that I don't want to see it. 2 weeks down the line I go back and I'm like omoo this is good o I think that's how we deal with our games. Saudi couldn't string passes fa! In fact the time I saw them dangerous was when Osimhen went out and Moffi took some minutes to enter. If it was us that was outclassed like that we would have cried blood by now. 2 Likes |

How does dribbling result to tactics? Mancini relies solely on individual efforts. The Saudis tactics today was suicidal and maybe Paserio smells it and decided to play two in attack (I might just have to give Paserio more credit). He brought Nacho into the midfield for Chuks and Ebuehi for an attack minded Osayi giving us a lot of success on the counter and good fluidity in midfield. From there we able to create chances upon chances with Sadiq missing and Iheanacho scoring and missing others. The midfiel had Iheanacho, Aribo, Ndidi when without the ball. How is that short? charlesemeka85: |

The team will come good but the truth must be told. 1) We are covered at the fullbacks. Bruno/Sanusi then Bright/Aina. 2) We are covered at the DM position. Ndidi/Onyeka/Onyedika. 3) We have problem at RCB. Ajayi/Ekong/Omeruo. Ajayi has a good presence but lacks calmness under pressure. He is an old school CB. His decision making under pressure will be a big source of worry especially if we meet a team that employs a high press. 4) Nuff said about our CM & AM. 5) GK dept requires a major surgery. In fact a state of emergency should be declared in that position. We don't even have a reserve GK. 3 Likes |

Na person wey dey complain dey emotional which is you. Na emotional people dey complain for every little things oo. You are the emotional oneoo all these laughing emoji na just facade oo. lolll! I have answered your last paragraph. He could have sub Sadiq off but cos na friendly and he just brought him on he decided to keep him not to kill his confidence. It was psychological rather than tactical (Human management rather than game management). In an important match the coach would have gone for the former. You get! charlesemeka85: |

In the second half, long before they scored and any subs had been made, the Saudi's had totally seized control of the midfield. The reason for this was simply their manager realised they were being overrun and needed to bolster their midfield and he did that by pushing a defender into midfield and going for a higher press. After they did that we couldn't get out of our half for almost 20 mins. Their goal was coming. These friendlies are both about understanding the deficiencies in the team and the result. The current goalkeeping situation is fatal to any team with ambition. The look on Ndidi's face was mirrored all over living rooms and viewing centres in the country. The manager's ability to proactively manage a game is also seriously suspect. 2 Likes 1 Share |
