For all the 'Switch Hunters', Nationwide is offering a Β£200 switch bonus. Conditions are to switch a Current Account with 2 active Direct Debits.

Gotten mine now. Took 9 days from app download and all.

Cheers!

Can I switch my Monzo account?

I have a Lloyd's account but it's also the account I gave my employer for payment. If I switch it how does that affect me?

If you have a Monzo account and not invested in the stock market........

Monzo teamed up with BlackRock, to provide investment opportunities to it's account holder's.......

https://www.blackrock.com/uk

If all you can save a month is Β£50, blackrock would manage your portfolio for you (for a very tiny fee)........πŸ˜πŸ’°

NB: I hope they would issue a statement of purchases, so we can view assets they are buying on our behalf........ (I would send them a message about this)......😁

The above is now rectified.......😁

E come be now wey I wan close my Monzo account

Meanwhile, guys don't miss out on the abundant opportunities over at the Civil Service job website.

There are a lots of roles available, and some listings are looking to fill a substantial number of positions I'm talking 80, 100, 250, and even 600 spots for some roles.

Don't forget, the more the number of people needed to fill the role, the better your chances are of landing a position

And, for students, while you're studying, consider applying aswell, Many full-time jobs listed also accommodate part-time work, perfect for fitting around your study schedule.

I've seen this firsthand in my previous department, where my colleagues from 9ja and India worked part-time while studying.

A majority of the full-time roles are flexible, allowing you to fulfill your 20 hours while gaining that needed UK work experience.

I believe there might be an option to transition to full-time after your studies (though you might want to double-check that).

If you are very desperate for job I would advise you filter the job grade for Administrative Officer role, hopefully with 3-8 applications you could get one or more.

Is this how the search should be done sir?

This is not about taking sides, it’s about celebrating the killing of innocent people.

You are allowed to protest in support of the Palestinian people, and there are protests in London this weekend, but it is against the law to incite hatred or violence against another religion or country or to align with a proscribed terrorist organisation.

France has already deported a number of foreign nationals found guilty of the above.

Honestly am shocked to see what folks post online, make people get sense o, not all personal views should be posted. The West whether we like it or not still dictates things globally, if you desire visas or permanent status, you can’t be posting stuff against their allies or in support of their enemies.

Hi,
I have been in the UK for three weeks now and my BRP is not yet out.
I applied for visa with my wife and our visa came out in June.
My wife came to the UK first week of July and her BRP was ready in two weeks.
I left Nigeria on September 20th and my BRP is still not ready. The post office said they don’t have it yet.
I thought it would have been ready since I applied time ago.
What do I do?

Abeg can you help me with a response to this person?

Good morning everyone.

I'm always curious why people who hate the West, or support the enemies of the West, choose to live in the West and not those other countries where their views will be accepted and even nurtured.

Nothing concern employer with your degree. if you don't have experience for this country. You and your degree will end up in unskilled job last last. Choose any of the courses you get professional experience on. Ire ooo

The course you study at master's level does not really influence your chance of getting a job .

The question is how many years experience do you have in these fields? Are you skilled in these fields? In my opinion, you have a greater chance of securing employment with your Nigerian BSc than a UK masters.

My personal experience and experience of people close to me .

If you are not skilled, put more efforts into learning and getting the necessary skills. The UK MSc is just for decoration grin. By the time you get to interviews you will understand. wink

Yea, the reason why I posted it here. I've seen people arguing for and against, just as in the case of Russia-Ukraine. Personally, I would rather mind my business in all these international politics and crises than put my mouth in what I have little or no knowledge of, except what the media feeds us.

The reason is ment and hypocrisy

Run comot your own country cos of religious wahala, claim asylum in the new country, then turn around and start asking for the implementation of sharia in your neighborhood...

Is that not ment pro max?

Thank you so much. But you know work experience in Nigeria is almost zero because some of us left the area of studies to do things that are totally different once it pays our bills...
