This is not real...see the likely scenario, they will send all necessary documents to your brother. They will issue a check and off course your brother will get someone to deposit and cash the 1k. Later they may ask that you send the money back and keep some or issue other fake checks.

100% scam, this is the initial stage they will draw you in gradually into the scam. The ultimate goal is the person US bank account, they will deliberately overpay into the account with a fake cheque and tell the person to wire back the difference in real money.

A US company won't request a payment to be made to a third party relation or friend on your behalf...even if you suggested.. they won't make the payment.. the payment must only go tru the real receiver..

I'm not sure you should send anybody contacts..
With dia names, contact address and other info.. they may hack dia SSN... better don't put ur family in hackers hand...
