I'm sorry to say this but the bolded is exactly what you're doing. You were not here when Awoniyi was celebrated here when he was scoring goals. Forest is playing EPL this season partially because of this guy.

Only a fo.ol will believe that.

So, in your imagination, Awoniyi should jostle for fourth striker position in Nigerians National team.

The only striker in the best league in the world, to jostle for fourth position with Belgium pro league, Bundesliga, Championship, Ligue 1, etc strikers in the Nigerian National team. And you think you are sounding normal. grin

I called that person out because that's exactly what he was trying to do.

Which injury? Osimhen no get injury? Why is he on their list? grin

Chai! See as these peeps are trying to play on my intelligence. cheesy

Nobi today I see that thing but I just took my time to observe things before reacting.

Chrisooblog engaged you on who is better between both. I never did.

My concern is with who is guaranteed a spot as of today and who will pair Osimhen best in Jpes' most preferred formation being the 4-4-2. Did I say anything else?

Boniface is not better than Awoniyi for now no matter how you try to sugarcoat it. Leave epistle for Wole Soyinka. grin

What I even find amusing is that there are receipts strewn across this thread of people praising and acknowledging Awoniyi's qualities but no broda agenda wants to turn everything to Gaza conflict.

Oga is dropping a bait and nobody has agreed to pick it. Why? It may lead to Pro-Boniface vs Pro-Awoniyi which is exactly what most don't want here.

Recently, my son's team won AMAC competition. One of the coaches in his club scouted him and 6 other players to play for his personal owned club because his own players are overaged.

One player from the original club is very fast and technical but he is a very selfish player. He would rather dribble or shot than pass to the nearest player.

At the end of the competition, he was chosen for national team u15/16 and he won the highest goalscorer of the tournament though missed several glaring chances.

On several occasions, the team were almost knocked out of the competition due to his selfishness but miraculously, they won the tournament.

Back at the main club, he was immediately pulled out or told to keep once he displaces his galala dribbling.

The last league match, the club lost the match because he refused to past on several occasions.

No doubt, he will go up but how far? European football has gone beyond that.

Technical ability is good but in modern football, tactical ability is over everything.

Messi and Ronaldo are both technical and tactical in their early years but as they grew, they became more tactical.

But most Nigerian thinks technical ability will make you world class player. grin
Without technical ability (I don't even like using the word as it sounds as if I'm talking about a machine. I prefer the word skills) football will be no better than ice hockey.

God damn this Europeans for stamping out flair from football.

Sadiq umar is very intelligent…But his body fails him most times and he hardly scores …like I said earlier in my post ….even if our team is playing bad, Sadiq will create dt chance for himself from no where ..I respect him for dt
Had it been he converts most of his chances ,we won’t even b discussing who shld pair osimhen upfront

But he’s just dt hypertensive style of a player dt can kill d fans with d way he misses chances upon chances

Go and watch sadiq most games in eagles shirt..he’s not d boring striker dt won’t give u something to say..it’s eida u curse him or praise him.. d former happens most times.

Look at d match against Tunisia 🇹🇳, d moment he was on d pitch..look at d chances he created and wasted ,he could av won d match for us had it been otherwise.

You have refused showing us where someone said Awo is not in Top 6 Naija CFs.

Now I want you to show us where anyone says Awo will jostle for 4th striker slot.

The way you are going about this only exposes your intentions more and more. You should have outgrown this behavior by now to be honest.

Mordern football is money driven. More of success/achievement than entertainment.

The drive that keeps footballing industry motivated.

Skills or technical ability no longer the drive that motivates. Time changes.

I think you are mistaken my point of view. Awoniyi is one of the best striker in England and I brokered the Chelsea's link.
Awoniyi was also one of the best strikers during his time in Germany. Awoniyi is a striker extraordinaire! He should not be disrespected by anyone and you can see my calling out Supernerd for not including him in his AFCON list.

However, Boniface is something different entirely and if he keeps working hard at 26 years he won't play for any team less than top 2 in the 5 top leagues.

By all all means support your player but don't over gas it with ridiculous sentiment based over hype.

To be one of the best you would really be in the top 5 or to be more generously inclusive maybe the top 10 ,if you want to over stretch it.

So how is Awoniyi one of the best in the EPL he is number 18. He is very good and improving but one of THE best Capital NO.

The thing is that regardless of what you think is the motive of a commenter, treat his comment from a footballing point of view. If you do, the discussion will proceed as a football discussion.
If you swallow the bait (that's if there's a bait because this is just an assumption on your part) and proceed to tackle the discussion from a political or ethnic point of view, then football will take backstage.
We all treated his comment from footballing point of view despite his biased intent. The fact that he is still going along with his faulty agenda shows he is throwing a bait - to pit the two players against each other.

If we had taken the bait, a lot of stats and laurels of each player would be flying around here by now.

In all honesty without prejudice, l have never see a player who is so tall and big but keeps falling down at the slightest physical touch.

It's quite disgraceful and it doesn't help him at all. When you are talk and big , there is an expectation of a good degree of physical dominance, but he has none.

He is literally joke.

I said donkeys ago he would not survive in English League one , he would get wasted.

My view of him has not changed. I think the less physical and intense lower quartile of La Liga is his best level.

But he is simply not good enough for the SE.
Sadiq and Onuachu are in the same boat. Not good enough. Not good at all for the SE.

I agree. Sadiq's guile and technical nous with a balanced centre of gravity will compliment Moffi's linkman/off-the-last-shoulder traits.

Also it could provide a nice Big Striker-Bigger Striker combo with Sadiq doing the holdups or layoffs for Moffi to latch on to.

But alas... not workable as Sadiq can hardly win aerials or stay on his feet. His hold up also is average if not below. It's sad seeing Sadiq's technical side being let down by his physical side.

You get it. His stature doesn't match his skillset. grin

My point stands. Statically speaking, Taiwo is far above Boniface.

Don't come here and start your propaganda Boniface is better.

If Boniface is better then he's better than Osimhen.

Some hypocrites who didn't rate Bundesliga when Awoniyi was shutting down their mouth have suddenly began to rate Bundesliga because of agenda.

The reason the national team has not achieved beyond its potential.
I really don't rate Awoniyi as per his showings in the GWG. But if he's not injured he will make the cut for Afcon.

No caps and even though it's gonna be against a top side like Liverpool. Saka is just that good. In my opinion, he's the best RW in the world currently but for now, Chuks just edges by one in numbers only.

Just glad I get to watch Saka on Easter Sunday after seeing Chuks' madness on Easter Saturday.
😂😂

Note the above post.

I said this months ago about Saka. It contradicts the emboldened in your post below.

You say we said Awoniyi is not in top 6 naija CFs. Show us where it was said.... you can't.

You say we want Awoniyi jostling for 4th striker slot. Show us that too.... you can't.

Technically(skillfully) Boniface is better than Osimhen, but Osimhen is a better striker because he presses better and scores more. Awoniyi is similar to Osimhen in style but Osimhen scores more than him.

Awoniyi does not offer something different from what Osimhen offers already, that is why some people will pick Boniface as more important because he offers something different.

To me, it is;

Osimhen (sub Awoniyi)

Boniface (sub Moffi)

Gift Orban.
