Who first used the word love?

Which book introduced love.

I remember the bible saying God is love,

Has any other religions and prophet ever said they are love?

Because currently everyone is saying let us leave religion and walk in love, who introduced love?

That's my question.

The correct answer gives you a gift.

Love is eternal. It has always existed. It has no begining and no end.

....And God says let there be light, and there was light.

If God is not love, we wouldn't have created light in the first place.

And there is no loving God that will wish the destruction of the light or the world he has created, only terrists wish that

Which book introduced love?

The word translated (LOVE) in Greek is in four categories:
LOVE: strong bond based on family relationship.
LOVE: strong bond based on friendship.
LOVE: strong bond based on sexual attraction.
LOVE: strong bond based on unconditional feelings.

The last is called "AGAPE" in Greek this type of love is what we feel for anything that may or may not reciprocate.

The Bible says:

"Beloved ones, let us continue loving one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God. Whoever does not love has not come to know God, because God is love. 1John 4:7-8

John a first century Jewish disciples of Jesus said this because he could remember when Jesus told them:

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." John 3:16

The WORLD in this context means inhabitants of planet earth among whom billions don't even know the God who offered to sacrifice His only begotten Son for their salvation so whether they will reciprocate or not this God has offered His Son to pay a huge debt that's causing the death of all mankind! Psalms 49:7-9

That's the unconditional LOVE a God we don't know has shown the entire human race because everything He does is motivated by LOVE! smiley

You cannot understand love, mysterious are its ways. You cannot understand it, you cannot pin down what it is.
Thousands of definitions exist but love has not been defined yet and it will never be defined. Whenever you define, immediately you feel something is missing. And that something will always be missed, because that something is the depth.
A definition cannot carry depth, it can only be on the surface.

You need to experience it, dissolve into it, and allow it to dissolve into you.

That's harsh, WORD is GOD ALMIGHTIEST, you wouldn't say a word written is corrupt.
