I am happy to be in this forum at a time like this. Reviewing some of our charts (communication, Uranium are among the sectors that looks okay), EPD, GSK[, IBM etc/b] are some strong stocks in a good buying zone.

For the above reason, it is better to have our own indications. The good thing is that the indicators can be tailored to our own belief and conviction.

At target technical, we can give you tailored made indicators that can make you a profitable trader.

For today the buzz word in the market is oil!!! What I like about the oils sector is divided, the sector pay high dividend than other sectors.

It might be selected stocks of companies with their base in isreal if at all it will have impact, am sure US will not put mouth, is an age long fight and that is how it will be off and on till the coming of Jesus Christ.

Gold stocks are looking good, but we should go for good quality only. Example is DRD

US STOCK INVESTING IS FOR LONG TERM BENEFIT
Looking at the level of fraud prevalent in Nigeria (if you invest in a Nigeria entity or scheme, the risk is just too high), the US stock market is relatively safe as once you buy the stock (I only know of entities connected with drivewealth), your investment is directly with the US entity (NVDA, AMZN, TSLA,, ET etc)..

These days, I am so comfortable having my money in US stocks compared with other alternatives. For example look at a stock like ACHR, JOBY see the quality of the major corporate shareholders (awesome). For a time like this, with oil stock: EC, PBR, ET are good. There is no strong entity in oil production quoted in Nigeria with only SEPLAT as alternative. Unfortunately, SEPLAT is not comparable to the medium size oil stocks in the US market. So if I am looking for investment I a real oil stock, I have no option, but to proceed to the us market

Why I love Health stocks, this stock- TPST did +2900% in just 2 days upon successful completion of their Cancer drug from 0.20$ to 7.10$ though mad profit taking on going. Wished the stock is on bamboo, I would have made good profits by now.

Health stocks still my choice currently, HLTH still delivered as expected this week while FREQ has been surging 5-20℅ gain during trading but closing flat once they finalize their merger that resistance of 0.35$ it will brake it hope they can push to 1.30$

I am surprised that DNA is not available in chaka. Looking at this, I am seriously looking at how I can now transfer some transactions to Trove. This I will consider.

Stay off from all of them for now, Health stocks can bring surprises based on FDA approvals or mergers.

It will always be difficult for US stocks to rise in my own views because of their system, the system allows u to sell any stock even if u don't own such stock, u can borrow any stock to sell at certain rate from the brokers.

WATCH OUT FOR CRYPTO MINING STOCKS TODAY

Current price for RIOT $9.67, MARA $8.75, COIN $77.21, BTBT $2.19 and CLSK $4.26 look good even after the recent 10% average gains.

They all might hit their peak prices again in a couple of weeks as they all did in July this year when MARA and RIOT hit over $19, COIN hit $105, CLSK went above $6 and BTBT hit over $4.

First comment after reading over 400 pages of this thread. Anybody looking at TSLA with with recent dip in share price? The dip was orchestrated by poor third quarter result. TSLA has a way of bouncing back from its lows. It began 2023 at 102$ and recently rose above 260$.

TRADING THE EARNINGS/NEWS RELEASE CAN BE DANGEROUS
Looking at the turn of the market towards the closing hour, it seems rate cut may not come, neither is a rate pause possible by FOMC.

So concensus is favoring retaining the current rate. However, some indicators are just too good. I use to see a lot of reds on my portfolios previously, but theses days, the greens are appearing. Took a dangerous trade in DUST, our indicator told us to buy and alas trade is in green in a period that profit is scrace in the market. This is a defensive play which is not intended for long term hold, if the market give me 10% by tommorrow (I am out to wait for bulls to return to the tech stocks ).
