Here's our 🇳🇬 starting XI vs Ethiopia 🇪🇹

The new girl Rinsola should have started now.

First game as a newcomer. Away from home. It's still okay bringing her from the bench. The starting front 3 is more than good enough for Ethiopia so no qualms.

Not sure when, but once we settle into the game they are in trouble

She's already out of position playing as a wing back. Now switching her from RB where's she getting accustomed to to a LB is just poor thinking.

Both teams have not settled

Why did they switch Nicole and Alozie positions ?

Nothing is just clicking that part of her wing

This is the time to do long balls and press high. This Ethiopian defence isn't good at all. Take advantage for God sake

She created that chance out of nothing and the first one was offsides

Oshoala has not impressed in a Falcons jersey for a long time now. This is where Osimhen trumps her, you'll always see his quality

what is Mitchelle doing at the left back, we have Imoran, this field is quite bad...
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 2:15pm On Oct 25, 2023
The same thing that happened the first time almost happened again. How do you go to a qualifier without a defence? Why disrespect yourself and your opponent like that?

With Her back to goal while she was dragged to the turf.

She was positioned there already. It's not like she ran into space. Your characterization of her "creating a chance" is what I disagree with. The ball came to her and she couldn't hit it. The angle of course wasn't easy, we can agree on that.
