Tinubu should start being like Abacha by hanging Peter Obi the Awkusu murderer and lot of the headless mobs.

So like that, we will see if they will still say Abacha regime is better.

Gen Abacha, those were the days

By now the Headless Mob would have been distributed to Prisons all across the Nation with no hope of release ,and many would have gone missing without a Trace

How's today's government different from Abacha's in terms of high handedness?
Would you loved to live under such ruling compared to this current one?
If you don't see a difference between then and now, then I can't help with it

Not surprised. Their mentor Peter Obi is also a huge fan of Abacha. While REAL men like Tinubu were fighting Abacha's dictatorial regime, Peter Obi was licking Abacha's yanch for his selfish business interests.

God cannot be mocked. The right person is President today. And I am very happy about it.

Funsho was The preferred candidate and man who was to be governor in 1999

The problem bedeviling Nigeria is democracy. Don't get me wrong Democracy is good but no nation can develop with our expensive type of democracy which lacks direction. Abacha I've always maintained is the best President Nigeria ever had hence the media brigandage and international conspiracy against him powered by enemies of Nigeria. He was not the one who annulled June 12 election but many people alive tiday including my own children associate him with it because the media made it so. Oil actually sold for as low as 11 DPB and his major problem was the Abiola mandate which he didn't annul.

All of a sudden obidients are rubbishing the same democracy they wanted to take over this year by rewriting history and painting Nadeco as the villains! Lol I have said it before, in 2027 Obi will regret ever allowing social media obidients control his narrative, he will regret it BIG TIME ! Bookmark this post for 2027.

The official rate of naira during abacha time was 21 to 1 dollar, on the black market it was 88 to 1 dollar.

Nigeria was on sanctions, prople could not feed, imagine, majoritu of Nigerians using sawdust to cook because we couldnt even have access to fuel or kerosene.

Don't mind them.

Fascist tendencies come to fore when there is economic pressure.

Willful amnesia that apart from humanitarian aid, the west refused to trade with Nigeria during this period and that jobs were lost and factories were closing down daily. Above all there was a climate of fear and insecurity anywhere.

Wealth destruction has been a continuum from 1960 to date. To pick a stage of cancer ( as better) when it is the same cancer that advanced years later is academic dishonesty. I am surprised that Kalu Aja whom i have known since the mid 2000's could be this simplistic.
As for the woman...she is what she is. She has very little intellectual depth.

Raskimonojendor:

Exactly.

We watched how he murdered many of his opponents via sergeant Rogers hit squad e.g. Pa Rewane or via hanging (e.g Ken Saro Wiwa).

Partial list of Abacha's victims

1.
Rear Admiral Babatunde Elegbede, killed June 19, 1994.

One time state military governor & former Chief of Defence Intelligence, 1989 to 1990. He was shot dead along the Gbagada/Oworonshoki expressway.

He was 55.

2.
Chief Alfred Ogbeyiwa Rewane, wealthy businessman & a NADECO chieftain, shot to death in his home in Ikeja, Lagos, 6th of October, 1995.

He was going to be 80.

Kenule "Ken" Saro-Wiwa, 10 November 1995.

The writer and environmental/Ogoni rights activist was Judicially murdered (that was what John Major, then UK PM called it) via execution by hanging, on trumped up charges of murder.

He was 54.

3.
Admiral Emanuel Olu Omotehinwa, May 22, 1996 shot in his home in Ikoyi Lagos.

His son witnessed his killing by 3 men who came into the house.

He was in his Mid 50s.

His close relations with an exiled ex-army officer in NADECO, was speculated as reason for his being targeted.

4.
Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, senior wife of Chief M.K.O Abiola.

Assassinated in broad daylight at Motorways Junction, 7Up Ikeja, Lagos, 4th of June 1996.

She had only just left home in Ikeja about 30 minutes earlier, on her way to keep an appointment on Victoria Island.

She was 45.

5.
Chief (Mrs) Bisoye Tejuoso; Iyalode Egba and mother of the reigning Osile Oke Ona, Oba Dapo Tejuoso, was murdered, 19th September, 1996.

She probably voiced her thoughts a little to loudly.

She was 80.

6.
Alhaja Suliat Adedeji, an Ibadan based business woman & politician, 14th of November 1996.

She was killed when gunmen visited her house in a genteel neighbourhood of the Iyaganku area of Ibadan.

Aged 52.

7.
Toyin Onagoruwa,18th December 1996.

A young lawyer, in his late 20s, son of activist & Minister of Justice, Dr. Olu Onagoruwa, sacked for disowning 8 new decrees. Shot in front of their house in Yaba.

The assassins’ car was traced to a govt security agency, via private efforts.

8.
General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, Enugu prison, December 8, 1997.

He was serving a life sentence for the 1995 ‘phantom’ coup.

Poisoned to death by injection allegedly administered by “Dr Death”, a colonel in Abacha’s death squad.

9.
Dr. Sola Omatsola, December 13, 1997.

He was the head of security at Murtala Muhammad International Airport.

A bomb planted for a senior member of government did him in.

He was in his 40s.

10.
Tunde Oladepo, senior correspondent & bureau chief of The Guardian in Ogun State, February 26, 1998.

Shot dead in the presence of his family in their home in Abeokuta.

He had written a story criticizing traditional rulers for endorsing Abacha for president.

He was 34.

And many others.

Picture attached is of Pa Alfred Rewane.

That is typical Igbo behaviour.

Very self-conceited and vindictive.
Recall that Igbos were in the forefront of clamouring for Abacha to stay forever?
It was also Igbos who led the calls for the cancellation of June 12 election. Remember Arthur Nzeribe?
Igbos were the ones who killed Tafawa Balewa, Sardauna, Akintola, etc. because Igbo man was not Prime Minister.

Now, through the brainless liar, Peter obi, they'd rather burn the country than accept electoral defeat.
Kalu is just Daniel Kanu ProMax. Na dia way

A wicked people!

So Major Adewale Ademoyega who was with the team that killed the Prime Minister is now igbo abi? and also Lt Fola Oyewole as well as Captain G.S Adeleke they are also igbo abi? Look stop behaving like a pharisee and quit being dense

who is burning the country now? is it not Emi Lo Kan? people are hungry and angry and you are here talking rubbish. You guys really don't have sense at all.

Al Mustapha said that Yorubas betrayed MKO. Tinubu lobbied abacha to become Lagos state administrator, while Abimbola Davies went to court after June 12 election to stop the announcement of the results which the courts agreed which made IBB annul June 12 election. Nzeribe's case was before the election and the courts struck out the case for lack of merit. We know who really instigated the annulment of June 12. You forget that it was an Igbo man who was NEC chairman who against all threats released the results. But you have the temerity to say igbos are wicked. Let me say this without any conviction. "God will punish you"
