Due to the current harsh economic environment in Nigeria,most couples who have managed to get married are now agreeing to delay having kids.
This use to be done by most white people but it it gradually creeping in to our society.
Though most mother inlaws may raise an eyebrow to it but most times the couples normally stand their ground.
The price of pampers and baby food and cream and soap has skyrocketed and if one is not endowed enough ,guy man that use to flex and go clubbing on a steady may be forced to start begging for handouts to take care of the newly born baby.
There may be repercussions though of not having babies immediately as when they may now decide that they now have money and want the babies to start coming but the babies themselves will now take a break from coming.
The situation is in a dire strait.

So what happens to some parents using nappy(napkin)

Baby food can be alternated ja're....the mum does exclusive breastfeeding for 3/6 months.

Then improvise with pap and tombrown with enough grinded crayfish,fruit puree.

Women should learn how to be creative n learn ways of thinking outside the box.

As for soap they can always use native black soaps/,cusson baby soaps (I still use it as my regular soap)

For creams....okume Shea butter is also a good one.

Modern Nigerian woman won't use Napkin as they are all for the soft life unlike out mumsy period .

I plan to have a kid, and when i do he's so gonna be fucckking isolated from society psychologically and if possible, physically.

Me wey my wife just gave birth to bouncing baby like this nko?...Omo it has been God o. Things has been easy make I no talk otherwise. Baby things dey costly like m*d. The only thing I can tell couple is make sure u make baby as soon as you can becos things won't be cheaper.

For those who intend to have kids:
If you have had recurrent “toilet infections” or STIs, save us the list of visits to prayers mounts and fertility clinics.
If you have been diagnosed of PCOS shaa, no try am.
Age above 35yrs, please don’t tempt your chi, etc.

Not like these set can’t birth kids, but they’re better managed when “infertility” is discovered or diagnosed early in marriage

The econonony in Nigeria only goes from bad to worse therefore postponing child bearing may not be such a good idea

Some people are used to suffering all their lives so they'll not see anything wrong and will kick against this topic and go ahead to birth children with their poverty mentality. After children go resemble rag wey dem take dey clean floor.

Only a sensible and wise couple will consider this idea. Children are meant to be given the best of life. If you can't afford to cater for them, don't bring them to this world to come and suffer.

I don't think it's hygienic unless they're washing it in boiling hot water.
