Please someone enlighten more.

BVL dropped on October 25 but no PPR. I was thinking BVL and PPR drop same time or same day. Please someone should clarify, I am getting worried.

Start packing your bags, you are 95% sure of getting PPR, the only thing that can deny the person PPR is if the person fails Medicals.

From the GCMS note shared, you couldn't provide evidence of a relationship with your sponsor, hence the refusal. if you want to use the same sponsor, try to pay your tuition fee, take pictures with your sponsor, and you can have a few transactions from him, or you change sponsorship

Hi all,
I need advice , I applied for my study visa may 2023 but it was denied august 2023 , I had to defer my sept2023 intake to January 2024. I requested for gcms note and it came with a reason on why I was denied. Now I want to apply again at Nov 2023 , but i need advice.
Do I use gift deed to address the reason so it shows in my account as I am planning not.to even put my account there but only my sponsor who is my uncle. Not sure what to do
Please help
Thanks

Register on the IRCC tracker . Hopefully You should see a visa and study permit numbers plus expiry date there, while waiting for the PPR.

Pay for waec scratch card and upload both the results and the pin for them, just incase they need to recheck. That's what I did in my case.
Did you get admission?

Its PPR guys!!! Ahhhhh!!! SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😃

Sponsor was my Uncle in my first application.
I didn’t really submit enough documents cos I didn’t know much about it then so i decided to recall bk my tuition fee deposit from my school, it was refunded i now calmed down and researched more about it before I reapplied again this year after i felt i have gathered enough information and documents.
My admission is for Winter 2024 (January 2024) and its a 2year diploma.

I wish everyone waiting and those about to apply success in their application. See y’all in the maple land.
SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!!!

Congratulations on your PPR. Please which of the colleges refunded your tuition deposit during your first application?

Thank you

Humber College, Toronto but i requested for it before the 10th day of class starting for that particular semester which was paid for if not it wouldn't have been refunded and they took $100 administration fee from it.

Just submit via courier.

InnoReborn:
Hi Guys, quick question. My PPR dropped on Friday but my agent has not been able to book appointment with VFS for my passport submission.

He said it is busy right now and suggested that I go to the cafes at the VFS office and try.

What do you guys think. The 30 day period to get the passport to the embassy has already started counting and it is giving me anxiety.

No. But show that the transaction narration on your bank statement aligns with the investment company's name. Other documents that confirm the liquidation can be added.

Get all the required documents and walk into DHL or UPS office. Tell them you would like to send your passport to Canada visa office for stamping. They are familiar with the procedure. You would pay for a 2-way transmission.

You can also book by yourself and go to the VFS centre yourself when you have gotten a date for submission.
Like mine, I got appointment for passport submission the following day after I was asked to come submit my passport.

I really appreciate your swift response 🙏🏻
By it showing in my statement of account,is that not also a proof it has been liquidated already?

Please as advised by @Tradesunmoore, register on the tracker to see the status. A decision has been made on the application that was why you received the BVL.

I pray the decision is positive.

Hello People! Help is needed!

Please it is okay to use different POF for school application and visa application? E.g. One person statement of account is used for admission and another for study visa application
Which is better, self sponsored or brother/husband sponsorship for MBA as a matured student with over 20 years post-graduation?
Which is easier and better to pursue, Post graduate diploma or MBA?
How much is sufficient for PoF for school application and study visa application?
Does school waive recommendation letter from school where all the lecturers are no longer in the system?
How can one pay for application fee? Is it okay for a relative to make payment on one's behalf, if yes, how does one explain to the school.

Thanks for being helpful

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 10:57pm On Oct 30, 2023
Your question shows you know little about Canada’s International Student Program. I recommend reviewing the thread or visiting IRCC’s website for basic knowledge.

1. You do not need PoF for a Letter of Acceptance from schools
2. A spouse is the best if the spouse is financially stable. A brother can be a co-sponsor.
3. Depends on the person’s qualifications and goals. Most employers in Canada prefer Canadian work experience to higher level of education.
4. There is no fixed amount for the proof of funds, as it depends on other factors like duration of studies, sponsorship and ability to demonstrate reliable sources of income. For example, if you are sponsoring yourself, you must have the tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of your program OR show funds for one year and a reliable source for subsequent years. On the other hand, if you are using a sponsor, you can show just the cost of education for one year, regardless of the duration of your studies

Tuition fee/year + living expense (10K) + cost of flight and transportation in Canada = Proof of funds.

5. Most schools do not require reference letters for post-graduate programs.
6. Anyone can make the payment for you. No explanation is needed.

I did already, even before asking. No study permit number or expiry date. They all show “not available”.
