Yes, women have sharp mouth- 10 times bigger than their body size and strength but beating her till she's unconscious is not a solution.
The only time you smack a woman is when you are role-playing in the bedroom and she's been a "bad girl" and you, as a soldier discipline her with your odogwu to render her unconscious from multiple.....you know wink

Hmmm... Sometimes, it's those closest to the woman that hide the whole thing and compel or convince her to pray and bear.

The biggest culprits here are Mothers, Mother-in-law, and Church leaders.

They are so concerned about their associative reputations that they would rather hide the poor woman's sufferings than let the cat out of the bag.

They will keep hiding everything till things truly get out of hand.

This is also partly because we as a society continue to place a taboo and stigma on Divorce and Separation.

Most women who remain in abusive marriages do so because they have no where to go.

This is why I'm of the opinion that a woman should sort out herself financially before getting married. That way she can easily walk out if her husband is the abusive type and still be able to fend for herself and her kids.

Nevertheless it's quite unfortunate when a person who once love and care for you turns out to be Mike Tyson. And the fact that no one can know all there is to a woman or man is challenging.

How do you call an abusive man to order? Arrest him? That's allowed in family relations?

I also believe divorce is a thing of shame, and I also believe he should be reported to people close to him of higher authority, I believe no one can outgrow proper correction and discipline, not necessarily an arrest but anything they decide to do to him to call him to order.

Our pastor also told of how he was a very violent person when he was younger but today he has not laid a hand on his wife for decades now. My advice for women and men in such kind of relationship is to avoid any flashpoint that may lead to this in the first place whether right or wrong. Some people just don't know how to let go in an argument and that's what leads to outcomes like this. If you know the man or woman has anger issues you avoid any kind of argument that may flair up such reactions and if you avoid yet the person comes at you fleeeee. Your life is more important please. Just that some women have terribly sharp and caustic forked tongues that can bring out the beast in even the mildest of all men.
In this case the man should be charged for murder. A pity the poor children will now be left alone in a dark and wicked world. One more marriage destroyed as a result of unmitigated anger.

Yes, Divorce and separation is a taboo, but necessary discipline and correction should be given to the husband.
I'm not sure but long ago in some cultures, if it's found that a husband beats his wife, they can hold meeting on his head to discipline him, it's disgraceful to the man.
