But their sauce will be cooked for life.

Being convicts, no reputable companies will hire them. To travel abroad, police reports will damn them. Cannot be allowed to vie for political posts, or be appointed to a responsible position. They have also become pariahs in the society. And so on and so forth.

Crime does not in pay in anyway, because the gains of it are always shortlived.
And you think this generation cares about anything called future or tomorrow, you need to have one on one conversation with some of these guys and see the mindset.

EFCC GO AND REST.

THE SAME ENERGY YOU ARE USING TO BRING THIS MEN TO THE PUBLIC VIEW.

YOU ARE NOT USING THE SAME ENERGY TO DEVELOP OPPORTUNITY FOR THE YOUTH.

Youth unemployment cries to the higher heavens.

I graduated from OAU. It's very hard for OAU management to rusticate her student. The only thing they will do to them is to block their eportal. They will be given extra year. That's all 🤷

Whenever EFCC arrests yahoo boys, their accomplice will be crying why not politicians, so they should leave you guys to grow in criminality and later become untouchable like politicians

THE CORRECTIONS MUST START WITH THE POLITICAL ELITES IN NIGERIA.

If they are corrected then the ones this boys are doing will reduced to a sizeable extent or stopped permanently.

Even in Advanced Country there are still fraud.

Even worst type of fraud exist in countries like Italy

Nigeria just dey learn.

Very strange any OAU student will have time and guts to engage in illegality like this.

OAU's very rigorous academic system is only for serious minded and brilliant students who can easily make it in life without any disgraceful Yahoo! Yahoo!

May be they are all these pre degree or diploma students.

So EFCC is basically for yahoo students now.

After that fraudulent election, they couldn't see any politician to arrest, instead they are going after poor students
Imagine what EFCC has been reduced to!

claiming that you are an American Female in love with your victims in the United States of America with intent to gain advantage for yourself and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 22 (2) (b) (i) and punishable under Section 22 (2) (b) of the Cyber Crimes (Prohibition, Prevention etc.) Act, 2015.”

fraudulently impersonated by representing yourself to be a white man by name Alex Stephens from United States of America to one Megan Johnson, through your Google Chat and your email address (alexsteps678@gmail.com) with intent to gain advantage for yourself

Even Nev Schulman hosting the MTV programme Catfish does far better job with far less resources.

EFCC should be scrapped. They have not been able to investigate, arrest and prosecute actual economic or financial crimes for decades.

EFFC was very wrong to have forcefully entered students hostel to arrest students at random in the name of looking for yahoo Boys. There is no where in Nigeria expecially the student environment where you won't see 10 potential yahoo boys among 50 students picked at random. EFCC under this new boss should be careful

Exactly. You break into student's hostel without any arrest warrant, arrest 69 students at random, seize their phones and laptops forcefully, and then only able to arraign 11 for romance scam aka catfish. That's impinging on the fundamental rights of citizens to privacy.

I.
Last weekend I visited my family. I asked the boy staying with my parents to go opposite our house to buy spices for me because I usually cook for my mum when I visit. The boy being a dummy, went to the shop next to where I asked him to buy from. The shop belongs to a Yoruba woman. The yoruba woman did not have the ingredients and spices. Instead of directing the little boy to her nextdoor neighbor which I intended, who actually sells the ingredients, she took the boy to another distant shop belonging to another yoruba woman. And they sold the ingredients to the boy at an inflated price.
When I heard what happened, I was furious. I took the boy back to the woman and returned the stuffs he bought and told them I have a customer I always buy from. I went to my customer and told her to beware of the yoruba next neighbour. You don't have a commodity, your neighbor sells the commodity but because she's not yoruba, you redirect the boy to another seller who's yoruba.

The yorubas can play their tribal games, but not with my money or food.

The Punisher can not get punished

Have you ever seen Teacher flog or punish his fellow teacher?

It's only the students that will be flogged and punished. Not teachers

Only civilians will get punished
Politicians are like teachers,
You can't flog them in front of assembly
Only students get flogged and embarrassed

Even if 2 teachers fight Infront of students
Nobody will tell them to kneel down and flog the 2 teachers for fighting.

The Punisher can never get punished

E Pele, baba Olówó.

grin grin Sometimes it's either we don't pay close enough attention or we are simply not being honest with ourselves. What we create, or got created, in our minds can never replace facts. That's why it sounds funny & naïve to those who have first hand factual knowledge that clearly punctured our dogmatic belief.

On this isolated matter, I pray justice prevails. The defendants represent themselves and not a university or the alumni and they should face their legal defense as individuals.

If found guilty, how exactly is this about OAU? Were they representing OAU in whatever they indulged in as adults above the age of reason baseline? Let's stop adding unnecessary sentiments to issues like this. What is important is to ensure the innocent don't get punished. That is the most important thing in law.
