I wont mention names, but positions and salaries aren't stagnant in many government parastatals and organization

if you spend 20 years in a government organization, within that 20years you will receive promotions and salary increase, your pension contribution will also increase.

after your retirement, you will get your gratuity and also your monthly pension.

if you are a deputy director in some government organization, you will go home with 75M after retirement, directors 100M

your gratuity and pension increases as you get promoted

In some private organization, they even pay more to high ranking staffs
