The husband may not understand how to deal with her symptoms of depression.
I was depressed and even suicidal and my family didn't know. Only very few that I opened to knew.

A person's State of Mind is a different world on it's own.

Let me share an experience I had with that genda.

I have a lady friend in the UK.
We have known since the university days.
Yes, she was my crush in the university. In fact we got talking much later after we had gotten married to our different partners , I told her I crushed on her while we were in school, her response was, guy you f**ck up ooh. You could have been a good candidate for me. We laughed over it.

However we still kept in touch, she was in the UK as a student while her husband and kids joined her as dependants.

I realized they were struggling to get their bearing and all.

She was busy with school and work, not having time for herself.

I guess she was bored and all and just wanted to unwind, guess what one today while we're were having a conversation on Whatsapp audio call, she suddenly turned it to video call and said , hey guy I want to do something naughty. Before I could blink she dropped her clothings and showed me her breasts. I
Was just dumbfounded. I couldn't relate, I can't tell why she did that because we were having serious conversation and nothing related to randy talks.

This is someone that is always serious.
I mean, she always let's you know she has no time to waste, as her time is so precious to her
This is someone I respect for her spiritually and so do others.

Now, what if I had screen grabbed that moment.
What if someone walked in on her at that moment.
What if someone lays hand on that recorded moment and starts black mailing her.

The decision she would take is what no one would have an explanation for and of course the closest suspect would be the innocent husband.

See, that genda is full of shit and can always spring surprises at the slightest opportunity.

All we can say is RIP to her.

This type of investigation that involves making unnecessary arrests is stupid and only happens because law suits against government bodies is but a shot in the dark.

Should he have been present to watch her hang herself? It will be one person or the other to enter the house and meet her dangling.

From time immemorial, humans across the globe have been committing suicide.
The reason cuts across many factors, finance, love, psychological etc.

I hate it when people just come out and hasty generalize things they have no fact about.

Police detain based on reasonable suspicion. We all know Nigerian police don't follow this globally standard procedure. Evidence can be seen recently when over 60 OAU students were arrested by the EFCC only for many of them to be released.
