I like visiting this thread anytime list of invited players is released. It always so entertaining coz you would definitely see one or two members nagging and cussing bitterly.

Last time Collins ain't invited, some Dudes called for JPes head, but funnily some are now questioning while he is invited when some players can play the position.

Sadiq Umar didn't play well to be honest, but we should understand this is Nigeria. Do you think its really easy to maintain your sanity as a Nigeria Leader?!

The other time no Northerner made the list, there was uproar in the North, in fact some Northerners called for boycotting of Super Eagles Matches. Protest letters were sent like flood to NFF Glass House.

Sadiq Umar is starboy of North, hence his inclusion, though sentimental but justifiable. We need to pity our coaches, we ain't in their shoes hence we wouldn't know where and how its pinching.

Regarding thin midlfiled, I do not expect any argument on this again. JPes favours 4-4-2 formation. He prefers playing with 2 midfleders and 4 attackers, thus he always invite large number of Attackers compare to Midfielders.

Tella, Iheanacho and Boniface can even play 10. Pls let's allow Jpes breathes, we are choking him too much.

A part of me thinks we will see a better forward partnership in Awoniyi and Boniface than we've seen in Osimhen. If you check the forward partnership that most have complained about here, one player is consistent in all of them; Osimhen. The presence of Osimhen hasn't allowed for JP to experiment with other players as it will be ridiculous to think of playing without Osimhen. This injury absence allows him that luxury.

Methinks Osimhen thrives better as a lone striker.

Have you ever met a lady who doesn't know how to cook?, Everything needed to make a good meal is available in the kitchen yet the food comes out tasteless.
JP is a coach who doesn't know how to cook our players. He just does not know what to do. Aside been a stubborn coach he is also clueless.

With JP,I don't see Nigeria qualifying for the world cup.

With JP, I see Nigeria exiting the Afcon during the Quarter Finals.

JP won't even see out the World Cup Qualifiers, bookmark this.

The present NFF administration is the worst in the history of Nigerian football. They have sown failure and they will surely reap failure.

Musa (Dan Kano) is Naija's record goal scorer at the mundial with some crackers to his credit.

It's best to die the Federal character talk.

This present SE team is reminiscent of the Drogba generation of Ivory Coast though that Ivorien team's deficiency was their Goalkeeper (Barry) and lack of depth in defence.

Looking at our midfield list over the years, it's clear that Peseiro doesn't have it as a priority. That was one of the things Rohr did that we complained about until it eventually affected the team.

Create which chance, as in he can lay pass to himself or can dribble the whole defense line except the keeper. Sadiq is a low budget Peter crouch.

Yeah kind of like the CR7 effect where every quality forward Ronaldo paired with in his career dipped in performance levels when he played alongside them.

Osimhen being our best forward means he can't be left out.

One thing certain is that once Ndidi recovers, he would be back in the team now so does that mean Onyedika or Aribo would be booted out or do we play with 5 MFs? If we play with 5 MFs then a replacement should have been chosen for Ndidi on my own opinion.

If at all anybody would be booted out, it might be Onyedika.. The fact that Dele-Bashiru was reinvited shows how much Jpes care about our midfield... Then there's Alhassan who he reportedly went to watch live some days ago.

We shouldn't be rewarding mediocrity at this stage. Twice too.

Come Afcon, if na Uzoho start, then this chants of Nigeria winning this Afcon is 50% impossible already.

The other half depends on how to effectively make the North African guys be tactically inept if we jam them, selection, tactics before, during, near the end of each game. Till then sha

Himā€¦u knw who I am talking about,go back and watch sadiq matches in eagles jersey and notice what heā€™s known forā€¦take it or leave it,sadiq is not a boring player, out of nowhere he creates something for himself even when d team is playing badly let alone of when d midfield is functioning well, though he ends up messing most of the chances, having such a player in ur squad will always confuse a coach.heā€™s a perfect example of anti-cavani(a striker who creates chances but hardly converts dem)ā€¦.take it or leave it,forget federal character ,if heā€™s fit ,heā€™s going to afcon

What you guys still donā€™t get is that at a Tournament anything can happen. The most inform and prepared teams leave in the first round. No hopers find themselves going all the way. Itā€™s 50% preparation and 50% LUCK!!

That's not a metric to avail mediocrity. It's not an excuse. Else you're giving an inference that Form is a useless variable in football equation. So, regardless of form(a very consistent one at that), we should entrust 6games in the prestigious tournament to someone that cant even tip over a freekick from a Saudi player?

The bar has really fallen!! El Hadarys and Enyeamas are never made that way. It also means all the outrage at Maduka is useless as well, if this is your stance. No team with winners Mentality toys with the GK spot.

There's a big reason De Gea was the saviour of a bang average man u team for some seasons. There's also a reason that Ochoa has a World Cup rep for Mexico. Let's stop all these permutations that help no one abeg.

Lol. Denmark ā€˜92 you say. So we should base our chances on an outlier event of about 31 years ago? Why donā€™t you mention Greece ā€˜04 too.

What you are literally saying is that it is not necessary to go to a tournament with the best of the best at all departments because itā€™s 50% luck and 50% preparation.

Even at that, the presence of Uzoho in the squad as our main goalkeeper has removed 35% out of our ā€œ50% preparationā€ leaving us with just 15%. And you and I know that luck is not a strategy. Heaven helps those who help themselves. We are not helping ourselves with Uzoho as our main goalkeeper.

If Argentina had Uzoho at the post, do you think they will be world champion today? Martinezā€™s last minute save against France is what made the difference for Argentina when the going got tough. We canā€™t even trust Uzoho or Maduka to sweep a cross not to talk of an outside shot or a one on one save.

The list is great. Awaziem's invite sweet me. Sadiq invites is in the same category as Aribo and Uzoho! Nothing like quota whatever! Paserio see Sadiq as someone who can play behind the main striker. Although Akpom can but he might need time to adjust to the pitch and weather.
