Akor vs Moffi

Air Akor was the better goal threat today. Seemed Montpellier had a compact defense leaving little room for Moffi.

Bannedlargedx2:

Give me orban ahead of the both. Sadiq is actually a decent striker when fit. Itā€™s just that, he hasnā€™t fully regained match fitness and shouldnā€™t be on the team ahead of Akor/orban now

Onuachu is really good. Watch the highlights and see his second goal. It was top class.

Guy is better than Sadiq for sure.

Thesupernerd, Bascovanveli, Kog45, Thegoodjoe and Charlesemeka85, I'm waiting for you guys to acknowledge your participation in the nomination committee please.
Its important you indicate that you're available to participate in the process so we won't have a situation where the nomination thread will be inactive...
Thanks my good people here for the votes gathered by nominees it signifies the love, support and commitment.

Despite our differences in opinions and disagreements over football reasoning,we still came together to do the needful in love and understanding..kudos to you all

I donā€™t want anyone to see it as a rejection but for real representation of our interests hereā€¦Chief Icon4s and I(kog45) shared the same ideology and it would have been ideal if we are in a ten members committee

I want to step down for my brothers in diaspora, especially Kokmne or Joebie who are more regulars here, cuz they deserve a representative but left for great Danielnino00 to do the needful and find a replacement.

TUALE to all members here it shall be well with usā€¦.Success and grace will not elude us in our different endeavors IJN.

Well I am saying what I observe in d national team set up, not club form . In a simple term, he puts himself in a more dangerous position to score but fails most most times ā€¦I am only letting u knw y some coaches might be always tempted to invite him over ,hoping he changes and coverts those chances ā€¦.I am not saying heā€™s better Dan odas

I no fit explain pass dis one if u no understand šŸ˜Ž
I hate to diss another man or criticize a footballer but since you guys say he is in the team cuz of quota system, well I can accept and chill cuz if it's about Talent or let's say football proper, that guy is not getting anywhere near the SE with a long pole.

Till date I still wondered how he got in real sociedad. Till date, I've never seen him play in that team, has he even scored 1 goal?

Egbon, you are our elder.. fire on! Speaking for myself, I don't mind either way
I trust those in the committee to steer the ship, ensuring we maintain our tradition here of bringing the year to an eventful end with the awards. Thanks all who took their time to vote.

Terem Moffi so far this season (WhoScored)

1st attachment: His passing contribution. Key passes, Total Passes, and Pass Success %
2nd attachment: His goals and assists so far, as well as shots per game

Moffi seems to have improved in aerial duels this season

I like visiting this thread anytime list of invited players is released. It always so entertaining coz you would definitely see one or two members nagging and cussing bitterly.

Last time Collins ain't invited, some Dudes called for JPes head, but funnily some are now questioning while he is invited when some players can play the position.

Sadiq Umar didn't play well to be honest, but we should understand this is Nigeria. Do you think its really easy to maintain your sanity as a Nigeria Leader?!

The other time no Northerner made the list, there was uproar in the North, in fact some Northerners called for boycotting of Super Eagles Matches. Protest letters were sent like flood to NFF Glass House.

Sadiq Umar is starboy of North, hence his inclusion, though sentimental but justifiable. We need to pity our coaches, we ain't in their shoes hence we wouldn't know where and how its pinching.

Regarding thin midlfiled, I do not expect any argument on this again. JPes favours 4-4-2 formation. He prefers playing with 2 midfleders and 4 attackers, thus he always invite large number of Attackers compare to Midfielders.

Tella, Iheanacho and Boniface can even play 10. Pls let's allow Jpes breathes, we are choking him too much.
Go and sit down. You expect someone looking for the progress of the team to support quota system or whatever you call it. Is it our fault that no northerner is doing well in his clubside? The team's progress is paramount, remember this is team football.

Would that alleged protest have occurred if the team is doing well without even a single northerner? No

Stop supporting nonsense.

Reading coach, Ruben Selles on Ovie Ejaria

""He had this when we arrived at the club, he was injured. He has been injured until the end of September, so we have been building him up with the Under-21s," he said ahead of the FA Cup tie with MK Dons.

"I am waiting for him to get his form and be able to play games and then I will decide. He needs to show his best. Right now, he is not injured he is building up form to be able to play. He needs to show that he wants to play for us and is fully ready. He needs to show that he wants to play and do things for this football club.

"He needs to be fully fit to play football matches and when we have decided that he is fully fit we will review the parameters of commitment. He will play if we decide he will play. He needs to show a lot if he wants to play for me."

I want to thank everyone who voted for me. Without this thread and the people in it i dont think I would be doing what I'm doing right now, so any thumbs up is cherished by me. But due to the fact that we have a crazy schedule of games coming up (Super Eagles, Falconets and Super Falcons) I will have to step down.

Hopefully when the awards are done I will be able to make a video highlighting each winner.

Solid committee!!!! Trust you guys to do an awesome job. And thanks Dan for the time and effort to do this, much appreciated.

Based on responses received so far, Thegoodjoe and Charlesemeka85 have confirmed their participation in the nomination process.
Kog45 and Bascovanveli have declined to participate due to various reasons they already stated above.
Therefore, Komekn and Majoribanks are hereby inducted into the committe.

Komekn and Majoribanks, kindly confirm your readiness to participate.
Thesupernerd,we still await your response.
I hope we can sort it all out by Sunday night.
Like I said, its important for all members of tje committee to confirm their willingness to participate so we wont have a situation wnere one member would go AWOL and we will be stuck somewhere..
Thank you all
